Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 10

This was exactly how it should be.

Seraphina pulled herself out of her thoughts and noticed a job posting for a jewelry designer on her laptop. The terms looked quite promising, and since she would need a place to land after the exhibition anyway, she decided to send in her resume.

She wasn't in any rush, so she could take her time applying.

After submitting the application, Seraphina opened her phone to check her calendar. The official exhibition date was fast approaching.

She needed to pick out an appropriate evening gown.

Seraphina freshened up and headed out, making her way to the largest luxury boutique mall in Northport.

However, almost as soon as she walked inside, she spotted Dominic shopping alongside Lauren and Lily.

Their eyes met across the floor, and a brief flash of surprise crossed her daughter's face. "Mom?"

Her voice was soft and sweet. Seraphina paused for a fraction of a second, but when her gaze landed on Lily's little hand gripping Lauren's tightly, her heart gave a painful squeeze. She coldly looked away, turning on her heel to walk deeper into the mall.

Lily's small face scrunched up. Why is Mom still ignoring me? She is being so entirely unreasonable.

Dominic's brow creased into a heavy frown.

He had actually seen genuine disgust in that woman's eyes just now.

In their six years of marriage, she had never looked at him with anything less than sheer adoration and stars in her eyes.

When had she become like this?

Lauren glanced back and noticed that both the father and daughter were staring fixedly at Seraphina. A vicious gleam flashed through her eyes, but when she spoke, her voice was laced with gentle sorrow.

"I don't understand how Seraphina can act like this. She refuses to come home, ignores her sick child, and comes out shopping instead. If I were blessed with such a wonderful husband and such a precious baby, I would cherish them with my life. Sigh, I suppose she's just been spoiled for too long. She's never had to endure any real hardship, so she just doesn't appreciate what she has."

Lily immediately pouted in agreement. "Mom is the absolute worst. She spends all of Dad's money, eats his food, doesn't even work, and completely ignores me. All she cares about is having fun. She's so mean. I hate her."

Hearing this, Dominic's eyes darkened, and his frown deepened further.
