Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 60

The email had arrived.

Meredith clicked it open, her face showing pure astonishment.

"The client says... it's stunning, perfect. This is exactly the vision they wanted. They want to sign the contract tomorrow morning."

The office fell totally silent for a second.

Then it erupted in cheers.

Applause and shouts echoed through the room. A faint smile touched Seraphina's lips.

She turned to look at Meredith.

Meredith stood up from her desk and walked over to Seraphina, her expression complicated.

"Seraphina." She started, her voice much softer than before. "I'm sorry."

The cheering in the office quieted down. Everyone was watching them.

"I judged you based on assumptions." Meredith took a deep breath. "You have real talent, and I shouldn't have treated you like an intern. Breakfast is on me for the next month. Give me a chance to make it up to you."

Seraphina waved her hand dismissively. "It's fine, Ms. Cross. I just wanted to prove I wasn't here to slack off."

Meredith nodded, genuine respect shining in her eyes.

Logan Carter stepped out from the crowd.

He was a man in his early thirties who had been with the company for five years. He was highly skilled, though a bit arrogant.

Right now, his face was dead serious.

"Seraphina. I think you're a better fit for the deputy leader position than I am."

Another wave of shock rippled through the office.

Logan raised a hand to silence them, his eyes never leaving Seraphina.

"I mean it. Your skills outclass mine. You leading this project as deputy makes way more sense than me dragging it down. I concede."

Seraphina looked at him, seeing the absolute sincerity in his eyes.

"Thank you," she said. "We'll tackle it together."
