Meredith didn't say another word and walked away.

The rest of the team slowly dispersed, casting various looks at Seraphina as they left.

None of her colleagues in the office took her seriously.

Meredith stood by the whiteboard, sketching with a marker. She drew, erased, and drew again, her frown deepening by the second.

"What if we widen the curve here?"

"Won't work, it'll ruin the proportions."

"Then tuck it in slightly?"

"If we tuck it in, we lose the light refraction effect the client wants."

The discussion hit a dead end.

Seraphina's pencil scratched rhythmically across the paper.

The angle of the curve, the placement of the gems, the thickness of the metal—every single data point was calculating at lightning speed in her mind.

A few minutes later, she stopped. She picked up the sketch, reviewed it, and a faint smile touched her lips.

Then she stood up and walked over to Meredith.

"Ms. Cross, I'm done."

Her voice wasn't loud, but the office immediately fell silent. Every head snapped up to look at her.

Meredith didn't even turn around. "Leave it. I'll look at it later."

"You really should look at it right now." Seraphina's tone was absolute. "I've drafted exactly what the client wants."

A male colleague let out a scoff. "Done in a few minutes? We've been racking our brains all afternoon and got nowhere, and you solved it in minutes?"
