Wicked Scheme Lost a problem Got a man novel Chapter 96

Chapter 96
In a dimly lit, run-down building, the sound of anguished howls echoed off the walls. This was one of the Elsworths’ many warehouses, also known as their torture center.
Two men were strapped side by side to a chair, their bodies enduring relentless punches. One of the prisoners’ grunts of pain
was apparent, while the other didn’t make a sound.
Several spectators watched the scene unfold, their menacing demeanour unfazed by the scream all, they were there to witness the punishment of the men who had killed four of their own–something they always did
rounding them. After
when one of theirs died.
In a secluded corner of the large room, three men in sophisticated and well-tailored suits stood out among the chaos. These men were the three bosses, idly observing the events unfolding before them. Their faces revealed little emotion as they watched the torture scene with a calculated detachment. Despite the tension and violence filling the room, they remained composed, their sharp eyes taking in every detail as the drama played out
Ian’s low voice cut through the chaos as he brushed a strand of hair from his face. His gaze remained fixed on the scene before him, but his words were directed at the two men beside him. “It seems a little too easy, doesn’t it?”
“What do you mean?” Axel asked, his voice eerily calm, though his green eyes burned with anger over the deaths of his men. His fidgeting hands revealed his eagerness to deal with the murderers himself, as they had refused to speak despite the ongoing torture.
Ian’s brow furrowed as he mused aloud, “Something is off. An unshakable feeling that things weren’t as they appeared pagged at him. “Did you confirm that these two men pulled the trigger?”
Axel frowned, looking offended. “Yes, I did. Some witnesses saw their faces, and I tracked them down myself. Just what are you trying to say?”
“Something about this doesn’t seem right,” lan repeated gazing the two men strapped in the chair. “They’ve been beaten, yet they haven’t uttered a single word. Not only that, but they took down four men with precise shots to the head from a moving car-a feat that clearly indicates i
their skills. Those men they killed weren’t even one of our special forces, they were merely henchmen. Why would Mr. K risk two of his highly skilled operatives to eliminate common henchmen? And how could professional hitmen be so s**py to show their faces in broad daylight?*
“Common?” Axel spat at Ian, eyes blazing with fury. “Those men were a part of us. They were carrying out duties WE delegated to them. They sacrificed their lives for us, so don’t dare undermine their lives like that.”
As the one closest to the men, Axel was understandably the most affected by their deaths. He knew every man in the room by name, and it hurt him deeply when one of them was lost.
“You know that’s not what I meant, lan countered, his gaze softening as he placed an arm on Axel’s shoulder. “These are my men too…I just feel something is off with this particular operation”
“I understand what you mean, Noah finally spoke up. “Killing those men was entirely unnecessary, and tracking down these men was way too easy. As soon as he finished speaking a **k was heard, followed by a bloodcurdling scream before the room fell silent.
Glancing over, they discovered that the screaming man had fainted, blood pouring from his obviously broken nose.
Noahrglanced at the report in his man’s hand before approaching the conscious man out of the two, who had refused to make a sound despite the mountain of bruises on his body. Je noticed a large, jagged scar on the left side of the man’s bl**dy face, likely from a past fight or torture.
Crouching in front of the scarred man, Noah began, “Cliffhanger is that your name? That’s what my reports say. But I’m going to call you Paul because you look like a Paul.” He glanced at Paul, searching for any reaction, but the man’s face remained emotionless.

The simple cromion feel” Noah began, taking a sear in a chair brought for him. “Me. K doesn’t care what I do
How death, tell me why you did it
Pasi raised the corner of his lips in a socer but didn’t say anything. It was the first emotion anyone had gotten from him all
“You won’t say anything Noah arched his perfectly shaped eyebrows.
“You’re a ba**rd, Noah Elsworth You all are,” Paul said his first words through gritted teeth. He felt like stripping Noah’s skin from his skeleton.
“Fine, but don’t blame me for what happens next. I asked nicely Noah said, ignoring the insults. Snapping his fingers. immediately, a man stepped forward with a laptop with live footage of an old woman sleeping in a hospital bed.
Paul’s eyes widened a fraction, looking at the screen, then narrowed with fury as he glared at Noah. “F**k you! How did you
find her
Noah smirked. Everyone had a weakness, and he had just discovered Paul’s. Tm Noah Elsworth. I can find anybody. Now, do you want to start talking?”
Paul’s veins bulged, and his muscles strained against the binds that held him. He tried to provoke Noah, “Wipe that smug look off your face. It’s been years now, and you haven’t been able to find Mr. K
Noah sighed, looking up at the dirty roof. Unable to find Mr. Kt was his only failure in life, but he planned to rectify everything in time. He muttered, “Blow her brains out.”
On the laptop screen, a figure came into view, c***g a gun next to the old woman’s head. Paul grew frantic, his anger turning to desperation. “Don’t you f***g dare, b***rd! You sick p***k!! She’s only an old woman!!!”
Noah glanced at the woman on the screen. “With final-stage dementia. Isn’t it pitiful that no one remembers your existence and wouldn’t be worried if I killed you right now? Not even your old mother. I’ll be doing her a favour.”
Paul shot him a look of disdain. “I won’t tell you anything, you p**ho.
“Yes, you will,” Noah countered, nodding. The gun pressed deeper into the woman’s head, causing her to stir uncomfortably in her sleep.
Paul’s heart sk**ed a brat.
“Stop” he yelled in fear.
“All this torture will stop if you just talk to me, Paul,” Noah drawled, “Tell me, why did you allow yourself to get caught?”
