Wicked Scheme Lost a problem Got a man novel Chapter 45

Chapter 45
Noah was taken aback by her unexpected reaction, finding himself both stunned and aroused. She appeared incredibly
attractive at that moment,
“You don’t think I went too far!” Noah inquired.
“Absolutely not. I can’t help but wonder how many other girls he’s harassed,” she pondered aloud.
Noah was tempted to tell her the dirty truth but he refrained himself. He would give Jonah the benefit of doubt to expose himself to the police.
The reason Noah didn’t throw Jonah into jail immediately was because he didn’t want to delay the film. He had seen how much this movie meant to Felicity, how much she had dedicated her time to it, staying late practising her lines. He didn’t want to ruin it for her.
He would let her emerge victorious before throwing that motherf**ker to jail.
“Anyways, let’s stop talking about unpleasant things,” She waved her hand in dismissal, “I got offered a contract for an advertisement from Everspriny today. They want me to model their product.” She said excitedly.
That’s great.” Noah found her excitement contagious. “Everspring is coming up these days. Good recommendation. We should celebrate. He suggested but to his disappointment she replied:
“Another time.”
The thought of her just finishing lunch with Caster made his mood worse, “Okay,” He responded without disclosing the sadness in his voice.
Their conversation drifted to small talk, and after dropping her off, Noah returned to the office for a meeting. He came back late at night, finding Felicity already in bed.
The next day, Felicity didn’t have to be on set since the director decided to film Jonah’s scenes first so that he would have enough time to recuperate later.
Instead, she found herself standing outside the entrance of Everspring agency with Lilian. Lilian drove her here since her car was still being repaired.
“Ready?” Lilian asked.
“Absolutely,” Felicity replied, and they confidently entered the building.
“Miss Orion, Miss Lilian, please follow me,” the agent eagerly led them to a room. Felicity’s recent online engagement had caught the attention of many agencies, and they were grateful she chose theirs.
Their agency was a fairly new one and would benefit a lot from the arrangement.
After exchanging brief pleasantries, they got down to business.
“Here are the final terms of the contract. Take your time to review them, and if everything looks good, we can proceed with signing, the agent explained.
“Thanks,” Felicity-muttered, giving the contract a thorough read.
“Once you’re ready, we’ll go through each section together to make sure you understand everything.”

“Sounds good. Just one question about the shoot schedule…”
“Of course, what do you need to know?”

The agent guided them through the contract terms, addressing any questions or concerns they had. Eventually, both parties. reached an agreement and signed the contract.
However, something unexpected occurred, a sense of déjà vu. The door opened, and someone entered. When Felicity saw who it was, she felt her skin crawl in disgust.
“Oh, I’m sorry. I forgot to mention,” the agent said, with a hint of remorse. “In addition to Grace Joel, we will be working with another person… Vivian Walker.”
Felicity froze in her seat as she watched Vivian smirk down at her alongside her manager. Her heart raced with hatred. Was the world playing a cruel joke on her? Or was her fate truly this awful?
Regret washed over her as she stared at the document she had already signed. If she had known Vivian would be involved, she would have refused the contract. Just being in the same rooth as Vivian made her feel sick to her stomach.
Memories of Vivian pushing her down the stairs kept replaying in her head like a horror movie. Once again, her hand. subconsciously went to her stomach as pain coursed through her.
“We meet again, Miss Orion. I guess we will be working together now,” Vivian sneered.-
Lilian, enraged, stood up from her seat and slammed her hands on the table, startling the agent. “Is this how your company operates? This crucial information should have been disclosed to us!”
Lilian was furious, particularly disliking everything about Vivian. She had met the spoiled brat on a few occasions and immediately despised her. She also didn’t want anything to remind Felicity of Caster and trigger bad memories.
The agent stuttered in fright. “It was an unexpected arrangement I apologise for the oversight,” he said, clearly shaken. It was beyond his control; the higher-ups had contacted him that morning and relayed the information, and he couldn’t refuse them.
“Felicity, tell your manager to calm down. Are you unwilling to work with me? What makes you so special?” Vivian scoffed. Felicity composed herself and motioned for Lilian to let it go. Lilian slowly sat back down, still vexed.
Felicity swallowed her rage. It was evident that someone had orchestrated this, and it had Caster written all over it. Why was he so desperately after her? For her o**ns? Well, he better try harder because it was not going to happen.
Felicity clenched her fists. For now, she was sure someone had leaked her schedule. She didn’t know how, but someone was going to pay for it.
“It is fine. Vivian and I are old acquaintances,” She told the agent before turning back to Vivian with a forced smile, “I hope we can get along”
Vivian smirked, happy with Felicity’s discomfort, “I hope we will
“Are we done here?” Felicity asked the agent and he nodded. “We will take our leave-now.” Felicity said before rushing out of the room, Lilian following right behind her. Only when she stood outside the building did she calm down a little.
“Felicity, I’m so sorry. I don’t know what happened. Lilian apologised profusely.
Felicity gave Lilian a deep look. She believed Lilian didn’t leak the schedule. But if Lilian didn’t, then who did? Only both of them knew about the arrangements.
