Chapter 44
Felicity all day.
“couldn’t help but snicker, which soon escalated into boisterous laughter. This was the funniest thing she had heard.
“Now that I think about it, you’re really funny, Mr. Walker. You love me? Did you remember that when you were banging my cousin?” she retorted, her laughter still echoing in the room. “Look, I don’t know who you think you are, but how I live is none of your business. You lost the right to know a long time ago
Caster frowned. “Why are we still talking about this? Georgia and I have apologised countless times, and you’ve even sought revenge. Despite tarnishing my reputation, I didn’t retaliate. Haven’t I been lenient enough? Consider the happy years we spent together and let go of the grievances. We can still be together.”
If she had been as naive as she once was, she might have fallen for his words. But this was a new Felicity, and his words meant nothing to her now,
“Get yourself out of whatever false fantasy you’re in, because I’m never getting back together with you, even if you’re the last man standing on this planet,” Felicity practically growled at him
Caster was taken aback. “Why do I feel like you’re not just mad that I cheated? What else are you angry about? What did I do to you?”
Felicity’s gaze turned icy at his words. What did he do? What did he not do? He had ruined her life and led her to her death. She didn’t need to wait for him to commit more wrongs in this life to recognize his budding evil.
As Felicity stared at Caster’s face, the terrible memories flooded back. This is my wrath from a different lifetime,” She told him, her voice laced with venom.
Caster thought she was joking. “No matter how much you try to run, your heart belongs to me. You’ll eventually come back
To me.
Felicity remained silent, her expression unreadable. As she received a text from Noah saying he was outside, she gathered her belongings and left without another word.
Outside, she spotted Noah’s car and hastily got in. Noah observed her angry face with concern. Who had she met that made her so furious?
He was about to ask when he saw Caster emerge from the restaurant. Suddenly, everything clicked into place. She had come to meet him. But why?
Were they trying to rekindle their relationship? Was he attempting to win her back? Did she want to get back together with
him?
Different thoughts ran through his head and his expression got worse with each. His hands tightened around the wheel as an urge to run Caster over surged within him.
Meanwhile, Caster stood outside, oblivious to Noah’s thoughts. He strained to see who was in the car with Felicity, but the tinted windows prevented him from doing so.
Despite his temptation to knock on the window, he knew it wouldn’t end well.
Gazing at the luxurious Mercedes, Caster sensed that the person inside wasn’t an ordinary individual. Curiosity gnawed at him as he yearned to discover who was supporting Felicity.
Suddenly, Noah stepped on the accelerator and sped toward where Caster was standing. Caster’s eyes widened in alarm, and

he swiftly moved out of the way just in time. The car narrowly missed him, leaving him standing there, perplexed and a little scared.

“F**king hell!” He exclaimed in shock. If he wasn’t curious about the mysterious person before, he most definitely was now
Meanwhile, inside the car, Felicity exclaimed in shock, holding her chest. “Do you want to get us killed?”
Noah seethed silently, still angry. “Are you worried about us or about him?” he murmured under his breath.
“What did you say?” Felicity asked, catching his words.
“Nothing.” Noah answered calmly as he reduced the speed of the car to make her feel more comfortable.
Felicity finally heaved a sigh of relief and calmed down. She noticed Noah’s sour expression and found it odd. She thought. he was irritated because she called him over abruptly.
“I’m sorry if I interrupted your work, but my car broke down and I didn’t know who else to call,” she explained to him.
Noah’s frown deepened, and his cold gaze fell on her. “Really? It seems you were having a great time.”
“A great time? What are you talking about?”
“Just forget about it,” Noah murmured. “How was filming?” he asked, changing the subject.
Felicity sighed. “It was fine. I had to film with Rita today. She actually changed after the scandal. She was less mean than
usual
“Maybe she decided to change for the better,” Noah suggested.
“Maybe,” Felicity said sceptically. She didn’t believe that someone would change that easily. “Jonah also came. He looked like he was hit by a truck.”
“Serves him right, Noah said, unsurprised. “A few broken bones aren’t enough. He should have broken his neck.”
Felicity hummed, “But I never said his bone was broken.
Noah looked like a deer caught in the headlights, “Yes, you did.”
“No, I didn’t
“Yes, you did. You said he looked like he was run over by a truck. Noah tried to defend himself, but it was lousy.
“Yeah, but that could have meant anything,” Felicity said, narrowing her eyes. “Wait, did you do that to him?”
“You’re overthinking.”
“No, I’m not. You left abruptly last night, and when you came back, you told me he wouldn’t ever bother me again. This was what you meant,” realisation dawned on her, and her eyes widened, “Noah, what if he pressed charges?”
Noah snickered, done pretending, “I’d like to see him try.”
Felicity laughed, “What exactly did you do to him? He kept avoiding me today and even apologised. He seemed like a different person.”
“Wait, you’re not mad?” Noah glanced at Felicity. He thought she would be angry when she found out what he did, but this

was the opposite reaction-
Felicity chuckled, “Why would I be? That prick deserved worse. Good job!” She gave him a thumbs up.
