Wicked Scheme Lost a problem Got a man novel Chapter 19

Chapter 19
“You don’t have to cook from now on Noah informed Felicity as they sed down on the dining table.
“I don’t like eating out. Cooking is not a ha**e for me,” Felicity placed a plate of food in front of him, “Try it”
Noah looked at his plate sceptically for a second. He honestly doubted Felicity could cook after growing up with a protective father like Connor Orion.
Feeling her eager gaze, he decided to give it a try. After all, it wasn’t like she poisoned the food. And even if she had, he was confident it wouldn’t affect him much.
Taking a bite, he was stunned by the burst of flavors that enveloped his tongue. He took another just to be sure. “This is excellent.”
Felicity laughed lightly as she began eating too. Halfway through her plate, Noah slid a black card across the table to her.
“It’s yours. No limit, you can buy whatever you want with it,” Noah explained.
“Really?” Felicity’s voice held a mix of confusion and excitement,
Noah nodded, “You’re my wife now. I promised to take care of you, and I will.”
“Thank you.” Felicity picked up the card joyfully. This card would solve all her problems. She was rich, baby! “Marrying you wasn’t such a bad thing,” she muttered to Noah, who nearly choked on his food at her words.
He gazed at her for a moment, speechless, before shaking his head with a smile playing at the corner of his lips. Felicity was indeed interesting.
After finishing her food, Felicity wanted to do the dishes, but Noah stopped her. She gave up and retreated to her room.
Checking her email, she found her script had been sent with a message from Lilian, encouraging her to do her best.
Felicity replied to Lilian before immersing herself in the script. With limited time for practice, she needed to perfect her lines before filming began.
This was her work ethic-no room for mistakes, even if it meant enduring numerous

sleepless nights.
Her concentration was shattered when her door was abruptly opened. Scowling, she saw Noah standing there. “What?” Interruptions like this irked her to the core.
“Husband and wife should share a room,” Noah deadpanned.
Felicity’s frown deepened, a trace of confusion flashing through her eyes. She noticed he was in casual clothing, a sleep jogger and a T-shirt that hugged all his muscles.
He looked nothing like the brooding businessman she met earlier. Now, he looked like a **boy.
She gulped. “What do you mean?”
Noah smirked as he came to sit beside her on the bed, “It means… we are supposed to sleep together.”
Felicity inched away as Noah came closer to her on the bed. Her eyes widened, and her heartbeat accelerated.
Her face flushed as Noah’s lips curled sideways. He was smoking hot right now. What happened to him?
Who knew the rumored cold-hearted man was such a flirt, trying to seduce her into bed after he had blackmailed her for doing exactly thr
After everything she went through with Caster, Felicity wasn’t ready to commit to another man just yet. Falling in love again was not on her list.
Not now, probably not ever.
Men were not to be trusted
Felicity shook her head to break out of her reverie. Just as Noah’s lips were about to touch hers, she panicked, fisted her fingers, and… punched him in the face.
The unsuspecting Noah recoiled back in pain, the familiar taste of iron invading his
tongue.
Before he could regain his senses, Felicity slammed her feet into his side, sending him flying from the bed. He landed on the floor with a loud thud.

The silence in die mom was deafening
“What the f**k?” Noah cursed at the feeling of rejection dawned on him. He had only been trying to tease, and he didn’t expect her to react like that.
He touched his lips and winced slightly. What was she, a boxer?
With her fist still hanging in the air, Felicity coughed nervously and composed herself. It was a reflex action. She didn’t know she could punch like that. She had never punched anyone before.
She cleared her throat, her gaze fixed on Noah’s busted lips. “It’s your fault. Why did. you try to kiss me against my will? That’s harassment. I could sue you for that.”
“You punched me. It was a joke
“Well, it wasn’t funny. The punch was self-defense, Felicity defended her action. “Get out of my room” She pointed at the door.
“No.” Noah shook his head defiantly.
Gritting her teeth, Felicity looked at him in the eye, “You’ve already taken my virginity that night. What more do you want from me? Let me tell you, sleeping with you wasn’t part of the contract. We are only married on paper. This is a marriage of convenience and I’m not expected to provide any ‘wifey’ obligations.”
Still on the floor, Noah frowned, “You are a virgin?”
Felicity was speechless for a second. Her mouth opened and closed like a fish, struggling for what to say.
“W-Why are you so surprised? I was a virgin until I met you. Didn’t you notice when we did it?” A flustered Felicity stuttered. Then a thought flashed through her head, and her eyes widened. “Unless…”
Noah scratched the back of his head and laughed nervously. The truth was, he never touched Felicity that night. He only trailed a few kisses down her neck before she passed out.
After that, he called a doctor to check on her condition, but of course, Felicity wasn’t aware of all this. She ran away before he had the chance to explain.
What? Did you expect him to sleep with a woman he didn’t know? Never!

So, he wasn’t aware she was a virgin. She had and Caster for years.
“You see. I didn’t actually sleep with you. I would never take advantage of anyone like that.” Noah explained. He was still a righroman in some aspects,
