Noah had a meeting the next morning, so he left before Felicity woke
up.
When he got to his office, he was welcomed by lan’s wide grin, “Boss, there is a… what happened to your face?”
lan paused and kneaded his brows, worried as he saw Noah’s busted lip. Noah didn’t get injured without something bad happening. Was he attacked?
Noah scowled as he recalled the events of the previous night, sitting grumpily in his chair. With a stern expression, he instructed, Ian, send some people over to my house to remove all the beds except mine.”
lan’s expression turned puzzled as he processed Noah’s request. What did his beds have to do with anything?
Then, a smile slowly spread across lan’s face as realisation dawned. “Boss, don’t tell me you had a fight with Ms. Orion over the bed. Is that how you got that bruise? Oh, how the mighty have fallen.”
“Do you want to die?” Noah’s icy glare pierced through lan like a thousand sharp shards of ice, freezing the air around them.
If looks could kill, Ian would have been six feet under by now.
In fact, anyone else but Ian would have perished already.
Despite the chilling atmosphere, lan’s ever-present smile persisted. He had crafted an impenetrable armour against Noah’s glares.
“It seems your charms are fading, Mighty Noah Elsworth.”
Noah sighed helplessly in his seat, feeling the urge to smack Ian but knowing he couldn’t.
Ian was like gum stuck in his hair-an annoying one he couldn’t get rid of no matter how hard he tried.
“I need a detailed report on everything Felicity does, and send me her schedule. Where is she right now?”
“Shopping for clothes at the mall. Nothing suspicious m,” Ian answered promptly. They

had bodyguards discreetly monitoring Felicity, per Noah’s request. “Is that all, boss?” lan wiggled his brows
“Get out!”
lan didn’t waste time and left the room. It would be dire to make Noah more annoyed. than he already was
There was a limit to everything.
Noah leaned back in his chair, a smirk playing on his lips as he imagined Felicity’s reaction upon returning home and discovering what he had arranged.
Contrary to everyone’s assumptions, Felicity wasn’t at the mall for clothes. No, she had enough already and wouldn’t waste her precious black card on unnecessary things.
All her actions were meticulously planned.
With the newfound wealth she had acquired, she finally had the means to make those who had wronged her pay.
As Felicity entered the gadget store, surrounded by electronics, the male retail associate gave her a curious glance. They rarely had female customers.
What did she want?
Felicity discreetly adjusted the mask on her face, aiming to avoid drawing attention. Her public image wasn’t great, and it could spell disaster if she were recognized in public.
The man behind the counter eyed her casual clothings warily. The store was filled with expensive gadgets. Would she be able to afford it?
“Good day, how may I help you?” He offered his well-trained smile.
“I want a Samsung T7 portable SSD and a 16-inch MacBook Pro,” she stated in one breath.
The man let out a nervous laugh, disbelief evident in his expression as he doubted Felicity’s ability to afford what she had just requested.

“How about you take a look at the cheaper models? Those are more affordable for someone of your status,” the retail associate suggested, his tone patronising.
Felicity arched a brow at his audacity. Someone of her status? That was rich coming from a common retail associate.
The man must have misjudged her because of her attire.
“I didn’t ask for cheaper models. Show me what I asked for,” she said sternly this time, scowling at the man.
The retail associate flinched under her piercing gaze, but he reassured himself that Felicity couldn’t harm him. She was poor with no power.
“Lady, do you know what kind of store this is? Only rich people come here. I can’t give you a gadget you can’t afford. Don’t embarrass yourself and leave,” the retail associate asserted, his tone dripping with condescension.
This was the last straw for Felicity. She was about to throw her black card in his ugly face before a voice interrupted them from behind.
“Felicity?”
Felicity froze at the sound of the familiar, obnoxious voice. A shiver ran down her spine as she recalled all the painful memories she had tried to bury deep down.
She dug her fingers into her palms, willing herself to remain calm as she turned around to face the blond girl behind her.
“Vivian.” Felicity tried to hide the venom in her words.
“So, it’s you,” Vivian said, crossing her arms as she eyed Felicity with disdain. Caster stood right behind her, clearly surprised to see Felicity there.
Felicity struggled to conceal her hatred as she gazed at the woman who bore a slight resemblance to the man she planned to ruin-Caster.
Vivian Walker was Caster’s step-sister and one of the villains who had made Felicity’s life miserable.
Felicity subconsciously held her stomach as she remembered the child she had lost. It was all because of Vivian, who had pushed her down the stairs.

ben Pend taster how their child had been killed, he dismissed it, insisting that Divas wouldn’t do nich a thing and that Felicity had just slipped.
Van bad bullied Felicity relentlessly, and nobody had intervened to help her.
As de gares at Vivian now, the temptation to bring out a gun and shoot her in the head was overwhelming
Long time, no see, Felicity remarked.
“But I’ve seen you a lot in the papers. You have a knack for making trouble,” Vivian’s stiletto clicked as she advanced towards Felicity. “You’re also making trouble here too.” Vivian then turned to the sales associate. I’m sorry for the trouble she caused. You can put her bills on this card,” she said, producing a platinum card.
The sales associate accepted the card from her with reverence, as if receiving a gift from royalty.
Miss Vivian, you’re here again. Do you want another MacBook? We have the latest version,” the sales associate’s tone was polite as he addressed Vivian. “I see Mr. Walker accompanied you again. You both have such a great relationship.
He continued to fawn over them, showering them with praise.
While Vivian was reveling in the attention, Caster approached Felicity. With a solemn expression, he said. “Is this how badly you’re living? Georgia informed me that your dad kicked you out. Now that there’s no one to take care of you, won’t you come back to me?”
Felicity immediately doubled over in laughter, drawing the attention of some people in the store. She laughed so hard that her stomach ached. “Come back to you? I’d rather
eat shit.”
“Are you still offended about the incident with Georgia? I told you it was a mistake.” Caster thought Felicity was just acting up. “Look, you obviously need help and I’m willing to provide you with everything you need.
He brought something from his pocket, “This is a cheque of ten million dollars. It should be enough to settle all your financial troubles.
Felicity gave the cheque a quick glance before narrowing her eyes, “Is this all you have to offer? I don’t need small change.”
