Wicked Scheme Lost a problem Got a man novel Chapter 180

Chapter 180
The next day, Felicity came out of the hospital after her doctors appointment with Noah following behind her.
Finally, the aweful sling was off her arm and she was finally free. Free to eat, drive, defend herself from any that would dare attack her and most importantly, free from the struggles of using the bathroom alone.

Having two arms was such an underrated privilege.
“Do you want to do anything before we go home?” Noah asked her.
“To celebrate the freedom of my arm, I want to eat seafood boil. Felicity said in excitement. Eating seafood was another thing she was unable to do for the past month because it normally requires two hands. She could crack a crab open with one hand.
“Okay-” Noah was on the middle of speaking when a random dude bumped into Felicity from the side, making her lose her balance. He quickly caught her before she could fall and hurt herself. “Are you blind?” He roared.
“I’m sorry,” The dark haired man said before bowing his head at Felicity in apology. He then turned to Noah and gave a chilling smile. “Hold your pretty lady tight before someone steals her away.” he said before turning his back and leave.
“What the f**k did he just say?” Noah was about to confront the man when Felicity wrapped her arm around his waist in a hug.

“It’s fine, ignore him. Let’s not start a fight. We should be celebrating.” She said, pulling away from him when she saw he had calmed down.
She had decided to reduce physical touches between them after the revelation yesterday. Whether the feeling she felt for him was love, she didn’t know. And she needed time to find out without his kisses interrupting her thoughts. And she also needed time to kill whatever it is she felt because it was only going to hinder things.
Noah glanced at her, missing her touch. He noticed she had distanced herself from after the talk with Vicky and it made him confused. He had tried to ask Vicky what was it they talked about but she refused to say and asked him to find out instead.
He had thought he had done something worng and apologized to Feliciy after words but she ignored him and pretended to fall asleep.
Women were really confusing, weren’t they?
“Okay, let’s get you that seafood.” Noah nodded, forgetting about the man that bumped into them.
Just when they were about to get into the car, Felicity pointed at something across the street and grinned. “Noah, that’s the food truck I told you about, Angel’s touch. What is it doing here?”
At the mention of the truck, Noah’s head whipped up in a flash to see the white and black truck parked across the street selling food to customers.
Noah had Axel searching all over the city fro that truck for a month but they couldn’t find traces of it anywhere. It was like it disappeared in thin air after Felicity saw it.
If not for the CCTV footage that actually captured the truck in front of Everdew hospital, he would have thought Felicity was making things up. The disappearance of the truck was enough to convince him his suspicions were right. It was owned by K’s organization, Angels of death.
And the fact that it conveniently appeared everywhere Felicity went was another disturbing proof.
“Let’s go say hi,” Felicity insisted.

“I’m going to say hi.” Felicity said, crossing the street before Noah could stop her. He could only rush after behind her.
Felicity approached the truck just as the previous customer left and she waved at the familiar man. “Hey, remember me?”
The man smiled. “Of course. Nice to see you again.”

“Do you only sell food in front of hospitals? This is not a very strategic spot.” Felicity told him. First, it was Everdew and now he had moved to this hospital. She had never seen anyone who liked selling Infront of hospitals before.
The man chuckled. “You’re funny, Miss Orion.”
Felicity’s eyes widened in surprise. “You know who I am?”
“Of course. Who doesn’t?” The man smiled before taking out a burger. “I’m guessing this is what you want to order.”
“It is,” Felicity took the burger in gratitude before turning to introduce Noah. “This is my husband, Noah.”
Noah stepped forward, blocking Felicity from the man’s gaze. He gave a smile that said he knew what was really going on, and said, “Nice to meet you. What’s your name?”
“Mister Wilfred.” Wilfred smile at Noah, asking Felicity. “I didn’t know you were married. I must say, your husband looks dashing. I didn’t know he would be here today.”
Felicity laughed. “How could you? You didn’t know I would be here today either.”
“Well, it was nice to see you too. Your friend who paid for you last time said hi.”
“He came back?” Felicity perked up at the news.
“Yes, he paid for the burger you’re holding.”
“Oh.”
Noah interjected. “Felicity, I think it’s time to go.” He said, pulling her away.
“What’s the rush?” She asked and when Noah didn’t answer, she waved Wilfred good bye. She yelled, “I’ll see you some other time.”
“No, you’re not.” Noah snapped at her, after dragging her across the street.
“What the hell is wrong with you?” Felicity snapped back. “You were so rude back there.”
“And you were too nice. You shouldn’t talk to strangers so freely. Noah scolded her.
“He is a good person.”
“You’ve only met him once!” Noah yelled at her, causing her to flinch and quiet down. Seeing her frightened look, Noah immediately regretted his behaviour and apologized, “I’m sorry for lashing out but you must understand this is for your own good.”
“You don’t tell me what’s good for me.” Felicity retorted, before entering into the car, slamming the door loudly as tears p**led around her eyes.
Noah sighed, pinching his forehead in frustration. His gaze landed at food truck which was now surrounded with his men and he felt better.
Noah didn’t know how K did it, but K somehow knew Felicity had an appointment today. What he didn’t know was that

Noah would be accompanying her which was why Wilfred said he wasn’t expecting him to be there.
Wilfred knew that the moment Noah caught sight of him, he was going to wind up gravely or worse, dead. Which was why he only watch Felicity when she was alone.
“Those b**s!” Noah cursed underneath his breath. He hadn’t expected K to have old people working for him too. From now on, even a child couldn’t be trusted around Felicity.
“Are you coming?” Felicity yelled from the car. “Any day now!”
Tearing his gaze from the food truck, Noah entered the car and drove off. Axel could take care of the
