Chapter 176
The next day, Felicity, Noah, Ian, and Axel sat around the dining table having breakfast Ian made when the news broadcast started on TV.
Felicity paused her meal, turning to see the images depicted on the screen—a burnt car that skidded off a bridge, going aflame a few minutes after crashing to the ground.
“…sources say that the young actress, Georgia Orion, suffered severe burns and trauma, and is currently in the ICU after it was confirmed she had a miscarriage due to the impact…”
Felicity frowned. So Georgia wasn’t dead yet. But after Felicity listened to the broadcaster list all of Georgia’s injuries, she . was reassured. There was no way Georgia was surviving the day.
Georgia was burned so badly in the crash that the people who dragged her out of the burning vehicle failed to recognise her. It was only after getting to a hospital a former fan was able to identify her. The news of the crash spread fast after that.
The police ruled the accident as an attempted suicide. Georgia had gone radio silent for a month after her sex tape was leaked to the whole world. She found out she was pregnant, couldn’t take it, and drove off a bridge.
“That’s outstanding. The police in this city are trash.” Ian scoffed at the news. The reason many socialites could proudly commit crimes was because the police had proved to be useless, too lazy to bother doing their jobs. If they did investigations, the city would have been a better place.

“Bunch of fools,” Axel added, munching on a piece of grilled sausage.
Felicity bowed her head, returning her focus on her food and ate in silence. While Ian and Axel discussed between themselves, Noah inched closer to Felicity and whispered, “Are you alright?”
“I’m fine,” Felicity nodded. “I just have to start preparing for her funeral.”
Noah’s eyes softened as he gazed at her. “It’s alright to let your emotions show sometimes. Whatever the case may be, she was still your family.”
Felicity snickered. All emotions she had towards Georgia died with her in her past life when Georgia plunged that knife into her stomach without a second thought.
“I don’t have any emotions to show. She tried to kill me.” Felicity replied coldly.
Noah didn’t press the issue, and patted her shoulders. He smiled and said, “My strong lady.” Before returning to his food. Felicity smiled and they continued their meal in silence.
After breakfast, Noah went upstairs to get dressed for work while Felicity prepared to go to the hospital. She dressed casually in a white shirt and blue pant suit. Noah helped her tie her hair into a messy bun and put a large coat over her shoulders to help cover the sling as best as he could.
“Can your drop me off?” Felicity requested. “I’m kind of car-less now.” She said, referring to her car that was probably already in the scrap yard for recycling.
Noah chuckled, “Sure… And you are free to use any car you want, you know? I’ll be down in a second.”
Felicity nodded and went downstairs to wait for him. There, she overheard Ian and Axel arguing about which car to take from the garage. But considering they both came to the estate in different cars, they were obviously trying to steal one of Noah’s.
When Felicity arrived downstairs though, they went quiet as if ♫!

She chuckled. “Take the Bentley. Don’t touch the Lamborghini though. It’s mine.”
“Yes!” Ian exclaimed, taking out a bunch of keys from his pocket before running to the garage to steal the said car, leaving Axel and Felicity waiting at the entrance together.
“You look good,” Axel complimented out of the blue.
“Thank you?” She replied but it sounded more like a question. “You don’t looked so bad yourself.” She accessed his outfit.
Axel was wearing a brown leather jacket over a black t-shirt with black trousers and brown boots. He looked badly sophisticated, if that was a thing.
“Yeah, I know.” Came Axel’s smugly.
Felicity scoffed, rolling her eyes. “You’re just like your brother.”

“It’s runs in the family.” He answered with a smile, making Felicity shake her head. Axel’s smile dimmed down a bit and his eyes were suddenly filled with gratitude. “Thanks for what you did for Noah yesterday.”
“I didn’t do anything.” Felicity shrugged.
“Yes, you did. You saved him from being raped,” Axel muttered with a grim look. “It would have killed him if that woman succeeded.”
“It was my fault it happened. I brought Georgia into our lives.”
Axel shook his head. “It doesn’t matter. You were there for him when he needed you the most. That’s all that matters.” He paused. “And thank you for that. You punished your family member the way you did for his sake, that takes a lot of guts. I respect it.” He finished giving her a nod of acknowledgement.
“That’s the nicest thing you’ve ever said to me.” Felicity mused with a smile.
“You deserve it.” Axel told her.
Just as he finished, Ian arrived with a new expensive looking Bentley, and Axel switched places with him in the driver’s seat. It all happened so fast, Felicity didn’t have time to react to his blantant compliment. Who was this and what had he done to Axel?
“Is that my new Bentley?!” Came Noah’s yell behind her.
Immediately, Axel stepped on the pedal and zoomed out of the estate.
“Bye bye.” Ian laughed from the passengers seat before the car disappeared from sight.
Noah stood at the entrance with a perplexed and frustrated look, He turned to Felicity. “You just watched them while they took my new car away.”
“There was nothing I could do,” Felicity shrugged innocently. “Let’s go. Drop me off with the Porsehe.”
