Chapter 169
Noah had never felt more enraged in his life. He seethed, his muscles quivering with barely contained rage. He was angry with himself for letting this happen, letting himself fall into a pathetic trap planned by a fool like Georgia.
Georgia’s attempts to seduce him were nothing short of laughable, her misguided notion that she could ensnare him with her cheap tricks. He wondered who gave her such a ridiculous idea.
The utter audacity of her actions only fueled his wrath. This was the last straw. Georgia had tormented Felicity for years. He would end her life as a gift to his wife.
Though Noah was not easily affected by most drugs, this one seemed to be strong. Only slamming Georgia to the wall had taken a considerable amount of strength.
Whatever he had to do, he had to do it before the effect of the drugs rendered him completely useless and fall prey to whatever the witch was scheming.
The iron grip around Georgia’s neck tightened and she wreathed in his arms, fighting for air. The fear in her eyes made his lips tug into a smirk. Yes, she should be scared. Her life was in his hands right now.
He wanted her to know what it felt like, to experience just a fraction of the terror she had inflicted on Felicity all these years. He would have already snapped her neck if not that he couldn’t muster enough strength to do so.
Noah gritted his teeth. “How dare you? Have you forgotten who I am? You think you can drug me and do as you please?” He snarled, his voice low and filled with killing intent. Though his feet were getting unstable, he tried his best to maintain his composure.
“I-I’m sor-ry.” Georgia choked out an apology. “Let me go and I will leave. I promise.”
“Leave!” Noah released and she slumped to the floor like a sack of nothing, gasping for breath. “Go before I cut you to pieces.”
Noah turned his back for a moment to catch himself when suddenly, in a flash of movement, Georgia pounced on him from behind, sending them crashing to the bed. Noah’s head spun, the unexpected fall disorienting him for a moment.
Georgia, fueled by her own desperation, scrabbled on top of him, nails digging into his skin, her breath ragged. If this didn’t work out, she was as good as dead. Whatever happened, she needed to spend a night with Noah. She would not let him go without a fight. She had come this far, she couldn’t stop now.
Georgia cursed herself inwardly, wishing she’d been more generous with his dosage. The man had quite a remarkable resistance, but she was convinced that if she got him on his back on the bed, the rest would be easy.
She knew she just needed to buy time, to outlast him until the drugs took hold.
“Get off me!” Noah yelled, trying to buck her off.
She refused to give up, her nails digging into his shoulders, drawing blood. “I’m not going anywhere! I deserve you more than she does.” she snarled, her eyes wild with desperation. “You’re mine now, Noah
“Why are you so repulsed? Am I so disgusting you can’t spend a night with or,” Georgia scoffed, pinning Noah on the bed. Her eyes were wild with desperation as she clawed his back. “Do you actually love my b**h cousin that much? Why does everyone choose her? Why can’t I get just this one thing? Don’t I deserve to be happy?”
You’ll pay for this.” Noah’s chest rumbled as he threatened.
Georgia hissed. “I’m already risking my life, what else can you possibly do? Aren’t you happy? After today, you will be a father. I’ll give you a son. Everything will be different then. You’ll see me differently, I promise.”

“Even after marrying Felicity, she hasn’t bothered to give you a child. I can do what she hasn’t.” She trailed kisses down his back, causing Noah to shiver in disgust. But she mistook his shudder for desire, her smugness growing. “Don’t try to fight it, Noah. Every man wants me, and you’re no exception.”
Noah replied, his voice lowering into a deadly whisper, “You better start praying because only divine intervention would save you from the fate that awaits you after today. I’m going to kill you and carve that b***d child out of you before dumping your tattered body for the whole world to see.”
His words made Georgia pause, and she stopped trailing kisses on his back. Noah took the opportunity and threw his head back with force, hitting Georgia square in the forehead.
The crack of skull meeting skull resonated in the room, and Georgia groaned at the collision, falling off Noah’s back and colliding with the headboard of the bed. Her vision swam, the pain exploding through her skull like a firework, accompanied by the slow, sticky trickle of blood down her face. The whole world was spinning as her head throbbed with agony.
A searing pain sliced through her abdomen. Tears pooled in her eyes and she gripped her stomach in fear. Not her baby, she couldn’t lose her child. Not now, not when she was so close to her goal.
Georgia lay on the bed unable to move her body. As she struggled against the pain, she became aware of the blurry figure of Noah hovering over her. She could make out the faint click of a gun.
“No, no, please,” Georgia shook her head, pleading for her life. Her vision had gotten clearer and she could see the tip of the gun pointed at her head. Her heart thumped wildly. Terror consumed her as she desperately willed her body to move.
“In your next life, don’t cross paths with me.” Noah spat, c***g the gun, ready to shoot. In his eyes, Georgia no longer deserved to live. Drugging him was a mistake he would make her wish she never committed.
Gazing at Georgia’s pleading eyes with hate, his index finger rested on the trigger. “Rot in hell.”
