Chapter 170·
Felicity quickly hailed a cab to the Estate. On her way there, she prayed desperately that Noah hadn’t already fallen prey to Georgia’s scheme.
Piecing together Georgia’s plans handy been difficult. The two had known each other for a long time and Felicity knew all too well how her cousin’s mind worked.
The only option left, then, was something even more sinister-to follow him home, The drugs she gave him were probably a rape drug or something.
Felicity would never forgive herself if Georgia succeeded in her plan. She was the one who led Noah into the trap because of her hysterics. It was all her fault.
But still, a part of Felicity boiled in rage and jealousy at the thought of Noah succumbing to Georgia’s ploy. Noah was the only thing Felicity had to herself and the thought of Georgia tainting him… drove her mad.
Considering Noah had been celibate since they got married, she wondered if he would jump at the opportunity Georgia had presented to him. Would he even fight back?
Would he even fight back? She mentally shook her head, trying to push the thought away. She would put her fate in Noah. Felicity phoned Ian on her way to the estate and told him to come immediately in case she wouldn’t make it in time.
Getting to the estate, Felicity threw some bills at the driver before turning to her home. She ignored the greetings of the guards patrolling and barged into the house, eyeing Noah’s car parked outside.
“Noah!” She called out, looking around the living room, her voice filled with panic and desperation. When she found it empty, she proceeded to their room.
Standing in front of the door, Felicity hesitated to go in, fearing the scene that would welcome her inside. Her fingers trembled against the cold metal of the door handle.
What would she find on the other side? Noah entwined passionately with Georgia.
If Noah gave in, Felicity would not be able to stomach the despair.
Gulping, she twisted the door open, bracing herself for whatever awaited inside. But the scene that welcomed her was unlike anything she’d imagined.
Georgia laid weakly on the bed half-naked with blood running down her face, grasping her stomach in pain. While Noah stood over her with a gun ready to pull the trigger.
“Noah,” Felicity whispered, taking slow, hesitant steps toward him, not wanting to startle him into committing murder.
Noah whipped around pointing his gun at her instead. Felicity didn’t flinch and gazed into his eyes. His green eyes were filled with confusion and were unfocused as he stared at her.
“Hey,” she said softly, slowly approaching him. He stared at her, the gun a silent threat, but his hand remained steady. He wasn’t firing. That was a good sign.
She took small steps until she was close enough, grabbing his arm gently, and pointing the phone down. And then, she wrapped her arms around him, pressing his body against hers. “I’m here, Noah. It’s me, Felicity,” she murmured against his
ear.
Noah’s voice was ho**e as if he were only now awakening from a dream. “Felicity?” he rasped as her embrace enveloped him, his hands tangling in her hair, his breathing syncing to hers. “You’re here.”

Chapter 170
“I’m here.” Felicity affirmed soothingly, her gaze shifting to Georgia who was groaning in pain on the bed. The urge to tear her to pieces was overwhelming. How dare she touch what was hers?
Noah’s touch distracted her from her anger as he kissed the tip of her car gently. He murmured, his breath teasing her ear, “I’m tired. I’m very tired.”
“You did well,” Felicity assured him, her eyes softening as she studied his face. Noah must have been fighting the drugs in his body but now that Felicity was here, he did not need to anymore. “I’m here now. You can rest.”
Noah groaned, shaking his head. “Not before I end her.” He said, pointing his gun back at Georgia on the bed.
By now, Georgia was hunched on the bed, sweating profusely. Her hands were around her abdomen and blood had stained her thighs. Seeing the gun pointed at her, she backed into the bed, breaking into a sob.
Felicity wrapped her hand around Noah’s, gazing at him. “You’re not going to become a murderer because of her. She’s not worth it.”
“Her death won’t make a difference,” Noah said, but let Felicity took his gun anyway. He was too tired to do anything else. He just slumped on her shoulders and tuned everything else out.
Felicity guided Noah to the couch in the room, making him sit before turning all her attention to Georgia. She grabbed Georgia by the hair, dragging her from the bed and down to the floor.
“You whore!” Felicity spat, slapping Georgia across the face. “How dare you sneak into my,home and try to seduce my husband?!”
Georgia couldn’t defend herself and just sat and received Felicity’s onslaught of hits across the face.
“What was your plan? Seduce Noah and try to pin your pregnancy on him, uhn? You thought it would be easy.” Felicity’s voice was laced with rage.
“F-Forgive me,” Georgia’s weak voice came. She tried to grab Felicity’s hand and begged, “Felicity, it hurts. Take me to the hospital.”
Seeing the blood, Felicity understood Georgia must be having a miscarriage. The baby Georgia wanted to blame on Noah was gone.
Felicity brushed Georgia’s hand in disgust. Remorse for Georgia was something she stopped feeling a long time ago. She cared less if Georgia bled to death. Felicity just didn’t want her to bleed in her house.
Just then, Ian’s voice was heard as he came pounding up the stairs. Getting to the room, his hair was stuck to the sweat on his forehead and he looked around eyes wide.
When he saw Noah lying on the couch, he rushed to him and checked his pulse before exhaling in relief.
“Is he going to be alright?” Felicity asked, kicking Georgia aside.
“He’s going to be fine, but I’ll call the doctor anyway,” Ian answered, stalking Georgia’s pale figure on the floor. “She did this
to him?”
“Unfortunately.” Felicity nodded.
The look that flashed through Ian’s eyes was scary. He looked ready to shed blood. Felicity had never seen him look like that before but she wasn’t scared. She didn’t even flinch.
