Wicked Scheme Lost a problem Got a man novel Chapter 164

Chapter 164
After taking medication. Felicity was ready to sleep..
“Get off the couch so I can lie down.” She said, pushing Noah off but he didn’t budge. Instead, he scooped her in his arms. bridal style. “What are you doing? I said I want to sleep.”
“I won’t let you sleep on the couch” Noah told her.
“Well do you have a bed somewhere because the couch is the only suitable option.” Felicity’s face screwed into that of confusion and exasperation of being deprived of sleep.
“As a matter of fact, I do,” Noah smirked. “Let me show you something.” He said, approaching the shelf of books in his office. She watched as he pulled out a book. Thinking he was about to read, she opened her mouth to scold him but she paused when behind the book, there was a lock.
“What the heck.” Felicity muttered as Noah inputed some numbers and there was a click.
The shelf suddenly pushed forward, revealing a small opening between it and the wall. Felicity’s eyes widened as they went through the opening, entering a dark room.
The light turned on revealing a blue walled room with a large bed in the middle. The bedroom, unlike the office, looked more packed. There was a minifridge at the side, a bean bag, a flat screen TV, a treadmill, a small kitchen area and a door she was sure led to a bathroom.
Someone could live in there without a hassle for days.
-What i
is this?” She asked in amazement, scanning the room in intrigue and excitement.
“Welcome to my secret hideout.” Noah said smugly, taking her inside, the secret door shutting behind them.
She moved to stand and Noah carefully placed her on the floor. Felicity’s eyes skimmed around the room in disbelief. She was even more shocked when she noticed that the wall opposite the bed was a one way mirror to Noah’s office.
She gasped. “I can see you work from here.”
Noah nodded. “Yeah, when I’m tired and decide to take a rest, I like watching my office to catch those who like sneaking around their boss’s table.”
“You’re so smart.” Felicity pouted. “How can you be so intelligent It’s unfair.
Noaj drew her closer, planting a kiss on her hair. “You’re smarter. You orchestrated the accident of two elite figures in the society and didn’t get caught. Brilliant.”
“I guess I did, didn’t I?” Felicity smirked before yawning. “All these smartness is making me sleepy. Wake me when it’s time to go home.” She said, lying on the soft king-sized bed, releasing a sigh of content.
Noah stood beside her bed, making sure that she was really asleep before leaving her to rest. A few moments later, lan entered the office. He looked around before his brow furrowed
“Where is Felicity?” He asked.
Noah, sitting at his desk, nodded at the shelf and Jan gave a nod of understanding. Only Ian and Axel knew about the existence of the secret room Noah had constructed when he took over from his father, but even then, none of them knew the password to the room.
If Noah told them, he was sure he wouldn’t get any peace of mind, talkless of privacy. Felicity was the first person he had shown the passcode to. That alone spoke volumes of the trust he had in her.

Chapter 161
“Wow. She gets to go in and sleep, but you only drag me in there to talk about top secret work.” lan clicked his tongue, narrowing his eyes at Noah. “I’m hurt. Don’t I deserve some sleep too?”
“Stop playing around. I still haven’t forgiven you for earlier
“Come on, don’t be bitter. It’s not my fault. You should have been a better kid growing up.” Ian countered, earning a glare from Noah, Rolling his eyes, he straightened his back with his hands in his pockets. “You called. Is there something you want
to discussi
“Hmm.” Noah hummed affirmatively, his expression turning serious. “Any word from Axel? Did you check out the hideouts?” Noah asked, referring to the hideout Mike graciously revealed to them.
“We sent scouts last night to different locations. Two sent feedback this morning and it appears everything Mike told us was true. Those ba***rds were really hiding deep on the bushes.” Tan spat, his face contorting in rage. His previous playful look was wiped without a trace.
The matter of K always managed to bring out the worst in them. And the fact that these men they’ve been searching for were hiding in the bushes and beaches all along. No wonder Axel had found it difficult to track them down
“When do you want us to react?” lan questioned, tilting his head to the side.
Noah sighed, loosening his tie. “Anytime Axel is ready. This will be his call.”
lan arched a brow at his decision but didn’t comment on it. Noah was usually the one who had the final say about things so it was weird he was leaving Axel to decide.
Though lan may have an inkling for the change. He had noticed Noah had changed after their fight in front of the park. It wasn’t apparent but it couldn’t be unnoticed either.
Smirking, lan threw a look at the shelf. Felicity’s presence was probably changing them for the better. It was nice.
“I’ll let Axel know,” an answered before folding his arms across his chest. The look on his face grew darker and his voice lowered. “When the fight between us and K starts, you know she, he tilted his head in the direction of the secret room, “might end up finding out. We can’t keep it quiet for long. Why don’t you come clean before it’s too late?”
Noah lifted his head slowly. His hand gripped a pen on his table until his knuckles turned white. Gritting his teeth, he met lan’s warm gaze with his cold ones. His eye contact with lan was unwavering.
“That’s my business. Stay out of it, lan,” He wamed. His voice was so intense that it sent a shiver down lan’s spine.
