Chapter 142
It had been two days since the accident.
Eventually, Caster came out to give a statement after he dad woke up from coma a day later. The good news managed to control the company’s shares a little bit but their losses were still enormous. Good thing Xander swooped in to save the day by donating a large sum of money
It was time for Felicity to start the next and final phase of her plan and get rid of Charles and Delilah once and for all before they could fight back.
Dressed as a nurse with a mask over her face, Felicity wheeled a drug cabinet into Delilah’s ward.
“Nurse, get me some water.” Delilah said, rudely without glancing at Felicity.
Felicity glanced around, ensuring no one was nearby before answering, “Get yourself some water.”
Delilah froze, slowly raising her head to glance at Felicity. “What are you doing here? Who allowed you in?” She spat.”
Felicity smiled before approaching her on the bed. “You shouldn’t yell too much, it’s bad for your health,” She retorted, ignoring Delilah’s gaze. “To answer your question, I came here to get some answers.”
“I always thought my accident was not ordinary. You had something to do with it. didn’t you?” Delilah accused Felicity. If looks could kill, Felicity would have been six feet under by now,
-Bravo! You guessed right.” Felicity clapped. “But you guys tried to kill me first so this was a little payback.”
“A little? I’m bedridden with a broken neck.”
“And something worse will happen if you don’t give me what I want,” Felicity stated, bringing out a syringe from the drug cabinet. “You see this, it contains a special poison that will make your fingers and toes rot from the inside and the rot will continue to spread until you amputate the affected areas.”
“You’re bluffing,” Delilah scoffed.
Felicity shrugged, moving to inject the needle in her drip when Delilah yelled. “Stop!” With her eyes wide in horror. When she saw how dead serious Felicity was, she gulped and glanced at the door.
“Don’t bother, no one will come even if you scream.” Felicity informed her. She had ensured the coast was clear, paying someone to cause a ruckus at the entrance of the hospital.
“What do you want?” Delilah asked.
“You tried to kill me. Was it because of the cargo or was it something else?” Felicity asked.
“You are Orion, we have a lot of reasons to end your miserable life. The cargo was just one of them.” Delilah answered, her face filled with scorn.
“Okay,” Felicity replied, moving to the next question. “I want to know what your family has against Caster.”
“What?” Delilah’s brow furrowed in confusion.
“Don’t act confused. You know what I’m talking about. Caster does your every bidding without any complaint and you don’t seem to particularly love him either. You must be controlling him somehow. Tell me.” Felicity threatened, bringing the needle close to the drip once more.
Delilah’s grip on the sheet tightened, gnashing her teeth in rage. “Jeremy is not my son.”

Tue, We
Chapter 149
“Whos
“I’m not saying anything more. Do what you have to do.” Delilah folded her arms gazing out of the window. “We were planning to kill you father the day we had the accident anyway.
Felicity’s gaze hardened and without a second thought, she pressed the needle against the bag and released the contents. “I forgot to say. The poison would damage your vocal cords too. In the next minute, you would be mute for the rest of your life.
She informed Delilah who let out a scream and threw curses at Her as she wheeled the drug cabinet out of the room. Her next target – Charles.
It appeared Charles had been expecting her since he didn’t look surprised to see her coming in.
“You know, I didn’t believe it when they told me my accident was merely an accident. I knew your slimy family had something to do with it,” Charles said weakly from his bed. He had only woken up a day ago and was still weak.
Felicity gazed at him in pity. The man lying before her was nothing like the one who threatened her at the party.
“I should have had you killed that night. Too bad the driver missed,” Charles said, “it was my mistake.”
“Too bad. That miss was your biggest mistake. I won’t make the same one,” Felicity muttered, bringing out the needle before slowly approaching his bed. “This needle is going to make your life a living hell, but before I inject your trip with it. I want you to answer a question for me.”
Charles didn’t have a reaction, watching Felicity with a blank face. Felicity took that as her sign to continue.
“What do you have on Caster?” Felicity asked.
“You think I’ll waste my last breath helping you ruin my son? You must be out of your mind.” Charles sneered before looking away from her.
Felicity already expected Charles to be harder to crack. She lowered her voice and said, “Deep down, we both know you want to ruin Caster as much as I do. I can see it in your eyes. For some reason, you despise your son.”
Charles’ gaze shook slightly.
“Tell me why? What did he do that made the family despise him so much?” Felicity asked.
Charles’ gaze hardened, looking like he was holding something back. His eyes shook slightly before snickering, “Let me give you a final challenge. Why don’t you find out? Find out what we are hiding.”
Felicity brow furrowed. So she was going to get what she wanted the hard way then. Without wasting time, she injected the needle in his bag before taking her leave.
Wearing her mask, she casually wheeled the cabinet out of the ward and into the busy hallway. Around her, the doctors and nurses were preoccupied with two couples causing a ruckus, accusing one of the doctors of giving her fake medicine.
No one noticed Felicity as she made her way out of the hospital through the back and into a black car.
“Is it done?” Noah asked, gazing at her through his shades.
“Yeah, the doctors would be alerted any moment from now. I made sure not to leave any traces behind.” She answered.
“Did you get what you wanted?”
Felicity sighed. “Charles didn’t give me anything useful, and I think Delilah was confused.”
“Why do you say so?” He asked.
