Wicked Scheme Lost a problem Got a man novel Chapter 140

Chapter 140
The whole country was in uproar at the news and the internet had blown up. Walker corporation shares were declining and many investors were pulling out at a dangerous rate.
Through out the night, the company did not release any official Statement and was quiet about the state of the heads of the family but of course Felicity knew how they were faring. They were faring badly.
Charles was suffering from a fractured skull and a rod through his intestines and Deborah had a broken neck and had to undergo surgery for a wound on her chest. Xander had told her all about it since Caster had to reveal things to him because of the merger. He had even gone to the hospital with flowers Felicity had bought.
“I’m curious. How did you manage to pull this off?” Noah asked from beside her on the bed. He was also reading the news article with an expression akin to pride. “The news makes it looked like it was caused because of the weather but that wasn’t the case, was it?”
Felicity smirked before turning to face him. “How much are you going to pay for my hearing expertise?”
“How much do you want?” Noah asked, arching his brow.
Felicity humed, tapping her jaw in thought before answering. Since you are so cute. I won’t charge you. I’ll tell you free.” She grinned.
“You are right. The weather had nothing to do with, it’s just a cover up,” Felicity started. “You see, Charles’ chaffeur as an abdominal problem so he is always on medication. All I did was swap his medicine with sleeping pills which made him drowsy while driving.”
“How did you that?” Noah inquired.
“You remember Mariam. Yeah, she did me a favour in exchange for going abroad with her son were the Walkers would never find her.” Felicity answered, recalling how this idea had strucked her in the office. She had messaged Mariam who agree to do it but in exchange for her safety abroad.
Hurting the Walker’s head wasn’t a simple feat and they would gut her alive if they ever found her. Mariam did Deborah’s makeup for the event they were supposed to attend and during her stay in the house, charmed the chaffeur and exchanged his medication.
“The pedestrian who they tried to avoid hitting was one of the staff form the mansion. I knew the drug would take effect between the time they got to the intersection and purposely orchestrated the scenerio which worked perfectly,” Felicity continued.
“Of course, you can swerve into a busy intersection and not expect to get hit. The truck which delivered the first blow was a certified drunk who was there at the wrong time.”
“Really? The wrong time?” Noah arched a curious brow. If there was something he knew about Felicity, it was that none of her plans happened by coincidence. There were all carefully constructed by her.
“Okay, I met have had something to do with it but that doesn’t really matters. What matters is how flawless the plan is.” Felicity said.” Even if the Chaffeur is tested all their going to see are drugs which is nothing new since he is on medication.”
“The pedestrian who was almost hit – poor woman rushed home in shock after the ordeal and ut wasn’t the drunk driver’s fault a vehicle swerved in his lane. Everything was simply an accident.” She finished.
Noah gazed at her, adoration dancing in his eyes. “Brilliant.” He muttered under his breath. “I wouldn’t want to be your enemy.”
A blush crept her cheek.

Chapter 140
“How did you know the Walker’s would be attending an event?” Noah asked.
That event was one that the Walker’s had attended in her past life. She had recalled clearly because she had found it suspicious when they left during a storm for an event. It was a private event and she didn’t know what it was about but she suspected they would attend in this life and she was right.
Since she already knew the time and date, she just used it to her advantage
to finish them off.
“Mariam told me. Deborah asked her to do her makeup and she guessed they were going somewhere.” Felicity cooked up a plausible lie before asking Noah, “Do you know which event they were going to attend during a storm?”
“It was a private event held by a crime lord. They couldn’t miss it? Noah replied.
Since the Walker’s were crime lords themselves they had to attend this types of events to expand their connections. They also couldn’t refuse to attend in order not to offend their allies.
“A pity they didn’t make it,” Felicity replied nonchalantly. “I’ll make sure they never attended another meeting again.”
“You want kill them?” Noah asked.
Felicity shook her head. She knew the accident wasn’t enough to actually kill them and they could recuperate after a few months if rest.
The plan wasn’t to kill them, it was to make them suffer and render them useless, and she had already start the next phase of her plan by calling Rebecca for another poison a few days ago.
Charles had threatened to run them over, so she crushed them with a truck. He had also thrown get father’s poisoning in her face, so she was also going to poison them in return. Was she cruel? No. This was simply payback. They provoked her first.
“I will make sure they don’t speak, grip, or walk ever again. That’s my plan.” She said without divulging farther. Noah just had to wait for the rest after it had be done.
“Now, I have a business to run.” Felicity said, getting from the bed to start her daily routine. She had to clear up her schedule before paying dear Charles and Deborah a visit in the hospital.
