“Why did you call me here?”
Caster sighed, setting his fork down loudly. “I know you shared those photos, and I need you to take them down.”
“Take them down? How do you expect me to do that?”
Felicity couldn’t understand why her plan worked so well. She thought Caster would remove the news right away, but his request indicated otherwise.
Felicity found it intriguing. Her thoughts kept drifting back to the mystery man.
“I know your manager put out those photos. She must’ve checked with you first. Look, I get you’re mad, but that thing with Georgia was a mistake.”
“Mad? That’s an understatement, Felicity retorted. “You’ve been sneaking around with my cousin.”

Caster suggested, picking his fork and taking a bite from his food, “You can say I was helping her practice for a role or something, but you got jealous and released the photo.”
Caster was devious, Felicity thought. He wanted to pin everything on her, so he wouldn’t take responsibility for his actions.
“You want me to take the blame for your mistake? And I’m supposed to sacrifice myself because I want to marry you?” Felicity raised a sarcastic eyebrow. “Well then, let me make things easier for you. Caster, let’s call it quits. I don’t want to marry you anymore.”
Caster’s eyes widened briefly before he chuckled softly at Felicity, as if she had just cracked the greatest joke of the century.

In reality, he had anticipated her usual compliance, always willing to take the blame for him. Felicity’s newfound assertiveness both surprised and intrigued him. Her uncharacteristic response left him shocked.
He couldn’t believe she was serious, but something in her eyes made him wonder if she truly meant it.
“You want to break up with me? Are you sure you won’t regret it, sweetheart? Stop acting tough and do as I say. I am doing this for our sake.”
Felicity leaned on the table, resting her cheeks on her palms, and smiled, locking eyes with Caster. “I won’t be taking the fall for your mistakes. If you’re so eager to get off the headlines, take down the article yourself. We’re finished here, Mister Walker.”
With that, she rose to leave, unaffected by Caster’s intense glare. He slammed his hands on the table in anger, stopping her in her tracks.
He laughed and rose calmly, as if nothing had occurred. “You’ll regret this,” he warned, though inwardly he felt a twinge of panic. If Felicity truly left him, how would he get what he needed from her?
Felicity smirked, “Oh, I highly doubt it,”
This time she was determined to live without regrets..
Felicity held her ground as Caster advanced toward her, cornering her against the door.
“Who’s backing you up? You couldn’t have done this done” he pressed, his tone
accusing. “You vanished that night. What happened? Where did you go? And those photos… How did you get them? Don’t tell me you found yourself a sugar daddy.”
Caster was certain Felicity had assistance from someone else.
Felicity remained unfazed by his accusations, recognizing them as a tactic to provoke her.
“Oh, those photos? They were a gift from my fairy godmother,” she replied with a giggle. “And as for that night, who knows? I can’t even recall what happened.” It was a lie. She intended to keep the events of that evening to herself.
Despite partially believing Felicity’s claim of memory loss from being drugged that night, Caster remained sceptical about the origins of the photos. The idea of a “fairy godmother providing them seemed far-fetched, and it didn’t explain his inability to remove the article.

He became more convinced that Felicity had someone backing her up.
An uneasy feeling gnawed at Caster’s heart. He detested losing control, and the situation was slipping further from his grasp. What troubled him most was Felicity’s sudden shift. in demeanour. What was she hiding, and why was she acting this way?
“I’ll be going now,” Felicity stated, turning to leave. But Caster grabbed her arm, causing her to raise an eyebrow at him. “Release me, Caster. If you leave so much as a bruise, expect to hear from my lawyer.”
“Are you really going to play it like this?” Caster’s voice held a mixture of frustration and disbelief. “All this time, you were the one pushing for a relationship. If you walk away now, don’t bother coming back.”
Felicity yanked her arm free. “What? You’ve never faced rejection before?” Her words dripped with mock sympathy. “Don’t fret, Mister Walker. I won’t bother you anymore. I wish you and Georgia all the best.”
“Hmm… you’re right. I’ve never faced rejection before,” Caster admitted with a confident smirk. “You’ll come crawling back to me once you’re done with whoever’s backing you up. I’m sure of it.”
“It appears you’ve misunderstood me, darling Felicity countered, placing her palms on his face. “I’m not ending things because of another man. I’m leaving you because you’re a cheat and a terrible human being. Remember that, because I’ll ensure you regret it.” With that, she lightly smacked his face twice before leaving Caster seething in the
room.
Felicity understood Caster better than anyone. After a decade together, she knew she had just provoked him, and he would undoubtedly strike back.
Despite his seemingly harmless facade, Caster was manipulative and cun**he fool if it served his purposes, but beneath it all, he was exceptionally intelligent.
He disposed of those no longer useful without hesitation.
However, she was confident he wouldn’t attempt to harm her now because she still possessed something he desired-her kidneys. So, she wasn’t concerned about being “accidentally” run over by a car.
But she also understood that if Caster ever realised she would never give him what he wanted, he wouldn’t hesitate to end her life.
