Chapter 132
Friday arrived in a flash.
After their usual weekly routine, it was time for Felicity to surprise Noah with the date she had planned for weeks.
That morning as Noah emerged from the room, dressed sharply in a suit, Felicity confronted him.
“You aren’t wearing that today. Go and change.” She said, pulling him back into the bedroom.
Noah gazed at her, confused, before glancing down at her outfit. She was wearing brown high-waisted palazzo jeans paired with a beige crop top and white sneakers. She was putting on a brown face cap and a mask.
“Aren’t you going to work today?” Noah asked, perplexed.
“WE aren’t going to work today,” she emphasised pointing at them. “Today’s your free day.”
“Free day?”
“Yes. You don’t have a lot of days off so today’s all about you, lan offered to take care of the company for you.”
“He did Noah’s voice was laced with surprise.
“Yes. Felicity bobbed her head, conveniently forgetting to mention the part where she had to “persuade” lan to take the
reins
“This can’t be happening. Where are we going?” Noah asked, sifting through his closet for something decent to wear for the strange occasion
“Wherever you want to go, Felicity stated with a hint of playfulness in her voice.
“What do you have planned?”
“No, today’s all about you. Tell me what you want and we’ll do it Felicity said.
Noah sighed, bringing out a less expensive suit from his closet to wear. Felicity threw him an incredulous look before shaking her head at him. “Thank God I bought something casual for you to wear.”
She said, bringing out the outfit she bought some days back. She had suspected he wouldn’t have casual clothes in his closet. Noah took it and went into the bathroom to change. He emerged a few minutes later in a solid brown flannel shirt layered over a crisp white tee, with black pants. The face mask and cap added a touch of intrigue to his look.
“You look great.” Felicity clapped in excitement and she adjusted his cap a little. “Let’s go.”
They went downstairs and Felicity picked out a white Mercedes Benz for them. “I’m driving,” she declared, snagging the.
keys.
Noah, ever the gentleman, didn’t argue and entered the passenger’s seat. “So, this is like a date?” He asked, his lips curving into a mischievous grin.
“Something like that,” Felicity responded, her own smile breaking through despite her best efforts to maintain composure. “So where do you want to go?”
Noah leaned back, a playful glint in his eye. “In that case, there one thing I’ve always wanted to try.”
A few minutes later, they pulled up to a cosy little pottery workshop that catered to couples.

Chapter 132
“Pottery? You like pottery?” Eelicity said, looking around with a mix of curiosity and surprise. “But you don’t have any pottery artwork at home.”
I’ve always been intrigued, but I haven’t had the chance to explore it until now. Let’s finally bring something home, shall we?” Noah asked, holding out his hand for Felicity to take, his face radiating with excitement.
“Let’s do it,” Felicity answered, grasping his hand as they entered the workshop.
It was beautiful, the exterior was made of rich, dark brown wood, with a glass door that opened into the spacious room.
The aroma of earth and creativity filled their nostrils as they surveyed the space, the soft chatter of other couples lost in the art of pottery lending an air of tranquillity to the room.
When they arrived, the friendly staff welcomed them and walked them through the basics of pottery making. Noah and Felicity picked out the piece they were interested in, and as they worked, the instructor provided gentle guidance and tips. helping them shape their pieces.
Felicity had chosen to make a handmade vase while Noah wanted to make a mug.
Halfway into the session, Noah noticed Felicity struggling with the pottery wheel. He laughed when he noticed clay splattering on her, staining half of her apron.
“I think you’re getting more clay on yourself than on the piece.” He chuckled.
Felicity shot him a playful glare. Thanks for pointing it out. It’s not my fault the wheel is broken.”
The wheel isn’t broken. You’re just doing it wrong.” Noah said. “Do you need help?”
Felicity wanted to refuse, but her eyes darted to her clay-smeared apron. “I could use some.” She admitted.
Noah nodded before moving behind her to guide her hands. “Your clay is too wet.” He explained, reaching down to add more clay to the wheel.
Felicity gulped, her heart thudding in her chest as Noah leaned in close, his hands wrapping around her. He was so close that she could smell his cologne and feel his body’s warmth.
She gazed at his masked side profile in awe. The mask only served to heighten his already captivating features. How could someone look that good in a mask? She wondered.
Just as quickly as she was lost in a daze, Felicity was jolted back to reality when Noah turned to face her, an eyebrow raised in question. “Are you even watching or are you busy admiring my face?”
Felicity straightened up and turned to face the pottery wheel which was no longer splattering clay. Cheeks flustered, she stuttered, “Of course I’m watching the wheel. There is nothing special about your face to ogle.”
“Right, Noah replied, a hint of armusement in his eyes, obviously not believing her. He clearly caught her in the act-Prove it. Do it then. I’ll watch this time.” He said, leaving the wheel for her to handle.
“Watch me?” Felicity exclaimed in shock, thankful she was wearing a mask to cover her real face. She pushed him away. “Why don’t you focus on your own piece? I can do it now.” She insisted.
“I’m almost done with mine.” Noah retorted, pointing at his perfectly shaped mug that was only missing a handle. Felicity begrudgingly guided the wheel. “How are you so good at this? I thought you said you hadn’t tried this before.”
Imay have dabbled a little bit. By the way, I’m a fast learner” Noah confessed smugly, smacking her hands lightly when she started to mess up the wheel again. “See, you clearly weren’t watching when I did it earlier.”
“Go away! I don’t want your help anymore. Felicity scowled at him, but as she said it, the wheel splattered mud across her

face shutting her up. Even her pottery wheel taking Noah’s side. Betrayer!
Noah laughed, wiping a blob of clay from her forehead. “Oops, you’ve got a little something here.”
Felicity couldn’t help but join in on the laughter, shaking her hear. “Thanks, you’re really helping me focus.”
“Okay, okay, I’ll teach you again but this time focus.” Noah instructed, guiding her hands once more..
This time, Felicity stopped her eyes from wandering and actually concentrated on her piece. In no time, her vase started to take shape, making her very happy.
“I did it.” She squealed excitedly, showing off her work to Noah. He gave her a proud pat on the head before holding up beautifully crafted mug. Felicity’s jaw dropped. How was he so good at everything?

“Let’s take a picture. Felicity suggested, realising they had very few photos together. She wanted a memory of their first time doing pottery, even if their creations weren’t perfect.
“Yeah, let’s do it,” Noah replied, and a nearby staff member eagerly agreed to take their picture. They raised their pottery pieces proudly, their eyes squinting in a smile.
With the click of the camera, Noah’s arm snaked around Felicity’s waist, pulling her in close.
After it was done, their little creations were collected for glazing and they were told they would be delivered days later.
They both left the studio with a smile on their faces.
