Wicked Scheme Lost a problem Got a man novel Chapter 133

Chapter 133
As they returned to the car, Noah removed his mask, a small, contented smile playing across his face.
“Thank you.” He said sincerely. “I really appreciate this.”
Felicity shot him a look, her foot pressing down on the gas pedal as they drove off. “Don’t thank me just yet. The day isn’t over. They had spent about four hours in the studio and still had a lot of time left to try out new things.
“Where are we going? Pottery was the only thing I was interested in.” Noah told her.
Felicity shook her head. “You’re interested in many things, you just don’t know it yet. That’s why I’m taking you to Wilfred’s
winery
Noah c**d his head to the side in confusion. “We are going to buy wine”
“No, we are going to make wine” Felicity clarified with an excited grin and watched as Noah switched from confusion to understanding.
Felicity had noticed his impressive collection of wine, and it wasn’t the kind a person accumulated by accident. It was obvious Noah was a secret fan of wines. So when she saw the winery’s events online, she promptly made a reservation.
A few minutes later, they arrived.
As Felicity and Noah drove up to the winery, they were greeted by a sweeping view of neatly trimmed vineyards and a charming stone building. A sign welcomed them to “Wilfred’s Winery.”
“Wow” Felicity breathed, her radiating admiration as they parked and approached the tasting room.
Inside, the hostess waited along with a group of tourists. Felicity had booked a group tour to add to the experience-to make Noah feel like a regular guy among regular people. She was sure he didn’t get that feeling often.
The tasting room had large windows that offered scenic views of the vineyards. The decor was earthy with natural wood accents, and there were displays of wine bottles and winery memorabilia.
The centrepiece was a long counter, where guests could try samples of the wines on offer. Behind the counter, were rows of wine bottles on display.
“Good afternoon, everyone! I’m so glad you all could join us today at Wilfred’s Winery. My name is Emily and I’ll be host. Please take a moment to fill out our guest form and I’ll be right with you.”

After a few moments, the group handed in their forms and gathered around the hostess.
“Fantastic, Emily said before proceeding to show them around. “Wilfred’s Winery is one of the oldest and most renowned wineries in the region. Our vineyards were first planted over a hundred years ago and we are proud to offer some of the finest wines in the area.”
She stopped to point out different bottles and explained the winemaking process. The hostess poured small glasses of wine for the tourists to taste and explained the characteristics of each wine,
Noah readily pulled down his mask and rolled the wine around in his mouth, savouring its unique flavour. He gazed into space in intense concentration as he tried to identify the characteristics of the wine.
Meanwhile, Felicity’s eyes darted around as she hesitated to remove her mask, afraid someone might recognize her. She gazed at Noah who didn’t have such worry enviously, since only some privileged few had managed to see him personally
Finally, when Felicity noticed no one paid any attention to them, she cautiously pulled down her mask and swiftly downed the glass. Immediately, a burst of flavour hit her tongue, making her smile.

Chapter 133
“This is good.” She fold-Noab, her eyes sparkling.
“Yeah, Wilfred’s Wine is one of my favourites. The wines are very rich,” Noah agreed, picking up another glass of wine to taste. “The winery is also authentic.”
“Were they always authentic?” Felicity asked with a knowing smile, raising her brow,
Noah chuckled before leaning in, lowering his voice, “No, they runned a sex club underneath the winery to attract rich heirs, who would book their tours. That’s how they gained popularity Noah said. “There was a time where they sabotaged every other winery that opened in the region, giving them a monopoly
“That’s terrible.” Felicity grimaced as her view of the place suddenly changed. “Do they still have a sex club underneath?”
“No, they didn’t need it anymore after their winery went international. That’s when they went authentic.” Noah concluded before returning his focus to the tour.
“This is fantastic!” One tourist exclaimed, looking at the place inawe
“It certainly is. We’re very proud of our grounds” The hostess smiled.
“I’m sure they are.” Felicity, unable to resist, snickered under her breath. Her mischievous smirk met with an equally amused grin from Noah as they shared a knowing glance.
The hostess continued. “We’re glad you’re enjoying it. Now, let’s head out to the back for wine stomping.” She led out of the door, to the vineyard.
The yard was bustling with activities, filled with tourists picking grapes and taking pictures.
At the heart of the yard was a wooden tub standing ready for stomping grapes. Several tourists were already splashing around, squishing the fruit underneath their feet.
“This is going to be fun,” Felicity said excitedly, rolling up her trousers. Noah followed her action and they were both ready to stomp. “Let’s do this. I hope I don’t lose my balance.”
“I can’t believe we’re actually doing this.” Noah let out a nervous laugh. Felicity gazed up at him to find him looking around like he was uncomfortable.
“Are you alright?” She asked, concern lacing her voice. “Don’t you like this? I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable.”
“No, no,” Noah quickly assured her, “You didn’t do anything wrong. It’s just.. this is my first time in a crowd like this without anyone asking for a contract, cowering away from me in fear, or trying to kill me. It’s.. odd.” He admitted, a slight frown. creasing his brow.
Felicity nodded in understanding. “Is it a good strange or a bad strange?” She asked, softly.
“A good one,” Noah answered, a smile tugging his lips.
Felicity returned his smile. “Good. Because we’re going to do this often-experience the ‘normal life. She said, air quoting ‘normal. “It’s exhausting to be so cautious all the time. Sometimes we just need to live without thinking about the consequences.” Felicity told him.
Noah smiled. “Yeah, we should.” He nodded before laughing. “Thank you for this. I really loved it.”
“This is nothing compared to everything you’ve done for me. You gave my dad five expensive paintings for free without batting an eye. Felicity replied, looking into his eyes. They were the brightest she had ever seen them.
Noah didn’t say anything and linked their arms as it was their turn. They step onto the platform and begin stomping the grapes. The feeling of the cool grapes squishing between their toes is both odd and exhilarating
