Wicked Scheme Lost a problem Got a man novel Chapter 125

Chapter 125
A storm of emotions raged within Felicity as she leaned against the railing next to her, her mind reeling from the shock of the new revelation. Every breath she took was ragged and jagged yet she desperately held back her tears, her fists clenched. so tightly that it dug into the already sore flesh of her palms,
The urge to bring down the Walkers was stronger than ever, and it took everything in her to stop herself from lunging at Charles’ throat.
Taking a deep breath to calm herself, Felicity straightened her spine. She strode towards Charles, stopping mere inches. from him. Her next words were calm but held a great deal of sincerity in them, like daggers piercing his very soul:
“Your days are numbered, old man.” She said to his face, and without waiting for his response, turned on her heel and left. She meant what she said, she was going to end him and take her revenge.
Outside, she avoided everyone who tried to approach her, her only goal was to get out of the house. She had gotten to the stairs when Caster blocked her path
“Where are you going in a hurry?” He asked.
Felicity, eyes brimmed in anger, spat on his face, “Get the f**k out of my way, you walking corpse!”
Caster backed away subconsciously at her sudden flare-up. He didn’t know the last time he had seen her lose her temper. Raising his hand in surrender, he muttered, “Are you angry about what happened during the auction? I was just trying to mess with you but I didn’t know you would take it that far.”
Felicity ignored his words, her voice dripping with venom as she said, “I hope you suffer until the last breath you take. May you die painfully and alone, screaming for mercy that will never come as you feel all your or**s fail one by one.”
After she finished, Felicity tried to move past him, but Caster grabbed her arm, stopping her in her tracks.
“What did you just say?” He asked, his face stone cold.
“You’re dying, are you not?” Felicity answered with her eyes filled with wicked excitement, her face inches from his. “And you need me to survive. Well guess what? You’re going to have to die, because you will never have what you want from me, You can drop the act now. This dear harvester just quit.” She giggled at the end.
They were so close Felicity saw his pupils dilate in shock when he realised what she was talking about, making her smirk in satisfaction. “That’s right a**le, it’s over.” She said.
Caster’s eyes chilled and he grabbed both of Felicity’s arms tightly. His face turned red and the veins on his face bulged as he gnawed his teeth.
His eyes grew frantic as he gazed at her and his hands around her tightened. “I don’t know how you know that but I assure you I will get what I want by nook or by crook, Felicity.” He said, heaving. “Now tell me, how did you know about our cargo!”
Felicity dug her nails into his hand, making sure to break some skin. She told him with a triumphany look, “The same way I
you were f***g Georgia, and tried to drug and rape me.
knew
Fear flashed through Caster’s eyes and he immediately let go of her. Stuttering, he asked, “H-How did you know about that?” “Yeah, you should be afraid.” Felicity told him before turning away. Walking down the stairs of the mansion, she ignored the pap**zi and entered a black Rolls Royce that had stopped in front of her.
Caster stood frozen watching the car speed off, unsettled from Felicity’s knowledge of his deepest secrets. Everything. Felicity spilled to him were things she was not supposed to have any knowledge about; the cargo that sinked in the middle of nowhere, and especially his illness.

Chapter 125
Only three people knew about his illness; Him, his father, and the last person was dead. Now, her knowledge posed a great threat to him, and his plans were jeopardised.
How was he going to fix this? This meant that he would never have the surgery he desperately needed to stay alive. Most especially, how did she find out about all this?
Caster’s gaze trailed to the balcony Felicity stumbled out from and saw his father. A dark look shadowed his face and a haze of fury clouded his vision. Did his father do this? Expose his weakness to his enemy? Did he really want him dead so badly? Caster thought as a searing pain radiated through his abdomen like electricity.
He hunched over slightly, biting his lips to keep his groan from slipping out. Could his dad really do this? No, it didn’t add up. If Caster died then the Walker empire would end, Charles needed him very much alive. Then who leaked his secret?
Could it be Felicity’s mysterious sponsor? Who was that man for goodness sake? Caster had never felt as much fear as he felt right now. He grabbed his abdomen as his face twisted into that of pain.
“Caster! Caster, honey. I just found something invaluable, you wouldn’t believe-
“Shut the f**k up, Georgia!” Caster snapped, his words biting like icy shards as he furiously fumbled for something in his pocket. Caster managed to pull out an orange pill container and swallowed some pills, struggling to calm himself as a sharp pain coursed through his body.
Georgia flinched at his outburst. She was even more surprised when she saw him taking pills. Swallowing her hurt, she asked. “Are you sick?”
“I’m fine!” Caster snapped again, taking deep breaths to calm himself as his pain slowly subsided.
“Suit yourself.” Georgia retorted, tired of his snapping. Why did he have to pour his frustration on her?
Caster glared at her as different dark thoughts ran through his head. Since Felicity had found out his secret, Georgia was going to be of no use to him now. Should he kill her? It’s not like they meant anything to each other. He was well aware of Georgia’s plan to sleep with the judge from the awards. She had finally betrayed him.
For the first time, Georgia did not cower under Caster’s malicious glare. She was getting tired of his shit. Gathering courage. she spoke:
“I don’t know what’s wrong with you but you better suck it up because I have news,” She started as Caster gave her an incredulous look. She paused before continuing, “Felicity stays at Wryfield Estate.”
“What the f**k did you just say?” Caster asked again, shaking his head in disbelief.
“Felicity stays at Wryfield Estate. That’s the address she gave to the movers to deliver her painting. I don’t think whoever is helping her is someone we can touch Georgia finished.
A pregnant silence followed, as Caster’s gaze shifted the starry sky above them. His shoulders slumped in defeat and he cursed, “Shit!”
