Wicked Scheme Lost a problem Got a man novel Chapter 121

Chapter 121
Noah stood over a motionless *dy body, his gaze cold and devoid of emotion. Wiping the droplets of blood on his face, he looked away from the lifeless man.
The air around him was thick with the stench of blood and burning vehicles. Glancing towards lan, he noticed that he looked worn out from the fight.
Noah sighed heavily, staring into the dark, moonlit night. The entire scene was an absolute disaster. What a mess.
“Noah, you good?” Ian asked, carefully navigating around the lifeless forms s**ed on the ground.
“I’m great,” Noah replied *ly, securing his gun in his belt. He surveyed the dark dirt road, his eyes searching for any signs of danger. “Where’s Axel?”
“He took off to track down the rest of them who tried to escape but he’s not alone-he’s got backup. He should be back soon.”
Noah nodded, his gaze shifting to the limousine he had used to drop Felicity off earlier. Now, it was nothing more than a mangled heap of metal, the result of a ruthless onslaught from multiple vehicles.
He hadn’t anticipated that Mr. K’s men would make a move this soon, but it wasn’t entirely bad. After all, he had already planned on eliminating every one of them tonight. The only downside was the loss of his expensive limousine, he should have switched cars beforehand.
The street surrounding them was a gruesome sight-littered with the bodies of men from both sides and smoke from wrecked cars Noah had set aflame.
When he was hit, he didn’t hesitate to bring out his gun and defend himself as best as she could until Ian and Axel showed up with backup.
Mr. K’s men had been wreaking havoc in several neighbourhoods as of late, their actions a blatant attempt to provoke Noah and draw him out. He had to admit, this was the first time they acted this erratic and it made him concerned.
Ten years.
For ten years, his unknown enemy, K- Kagen, had been terrorising his family from the shadows, plunging Noah’s world into one of constant bloodshed and apprehension.
No one knew the true motivation behind K’s animosity towards Elsworths, especially Noah. But they did know he was a c**g and ruthless enemy, the most dangerous they had ever faced. It didn’t help that nobody knew who he was. It wasn’t until Felicity’s sudden appearance in their lives that K finally revealed himself, leaving them with more questions than
answers.
It was obvious that Felicity didn’t know Kagen, but he seemed to know her. Could Felicity be the missing link they had been searching for all these years? This possibility had caused Noah immense distress and countless sleepless nights.
If only he didn’t love her, things would have been simpler. But now that he did, the thought of K getting close to her again drove him paranoid.
A voice snapped him out of his thoughts. “I brought one!” Noah turned to see Axel dragging a bloodied man toward him. He had been so lost in thought that he hadn’t even noticed Axel’s car pull up.
Pushing his worries aside, he approached them, “Who the f**k is he?”
Axel shrugged, “How should I know? I just found him in one of the cars we crashed.”
Noah rolled his eyes and squatted in front of the man. His nose was at an odd angle and one of his ears was missing.

The man’s eyes were filled with indescribable fear as he locked eyes with Noah. Trembling, he mumbled, “It’s the devils,” though it was barely audible due to his missing teeth and dislocated jaw.
“That’s a bit rude, don’t you think?” Noah replied, unfazed. “We haven’t committed half the crimes your boss has.”
“K is good,” the man insisted, his voice tinged with desperation.
“Sure,” Noah said, not bothering to argue. All of K’s men always defended him to their dying breath, as if they had been brainwashed. Arguing with this one would be a waste of time.
“What’s your name?” Noah asked.
“Go to hell.” The man spat a bl**dy w**d of saliva on Noah’s shirt, prompting Ian to press on one of his open injuries. The man let out a scream and said, “Felix! It’s Felix!”
Noah sighed before gesturing for Ian to let go of him. He used a handkerchief to wipe his shirt before continuing, “Felix, since I’m in a good mood, I won’t kill you today. Instead, I want you to pass a message to your boss for me. Can you do that?”
“I’m not doing shit for you. Just kill me.” Felix seethed.
Noah shrugged, “Fine,” he turned to Ian and said, “Get me some gasoline.”
Felix’s eyes widened in fear and he stuttered in anger, “You want to burn me alive?! Just shoot me, goddamn it!”
Noah gave a chilling smile, shaking his head and pointing at the burning cars around them, lighting a cigarette, “Look, all your friends died that way. I’m not going to show you mercy. It would be unfair to them.”
As he finished speaking, Ian returned with a can of gasoline and started dousing Felix with it. Felix thrashed around helplessly but couldn’t move as he was pinned down. Death by burning was a cruel and agonising end, Noah knew that. And no one wanted to endure that-not even dear old Felix.
“Fine! What do you want me to deliver?!” Felix finally relented. Immediately, Ian dropped the can, and Noah extinguished the cigarette in his hand.
“Good,” Noah said with a satisfied nod before leaning in to whisper his message into Felix’s ear. As Felix listened, his eyes widened in disbelief.
“You must be out of your mind!” Felix exclaimed.
“I am, actually,” Noah responded calmly. “Tell him that his men will continue to die like they did tonight until he does what he’s told.”
Felix let out a wry laugh before saying, “K doesn’t have any weaknesses. You’re the only vulnerable one in this fight. You think he would come to your s**id terms when he has nothing to lose?”
“I think he will.” Noah retorted, “You can go now before I change my mind.”
Felix scoffed before stumbling to his feet, he was not going to turn down a chance to live. He threw Noah a wary look before taking a tentative step forward. When no one made a move to kill him, he took another step, and then another, until he wa a fair distance away from them.
When he realised that no one was going to shoot him in the back, he finally bolted, limping away from the scene as fast as he could.
Noah, Ian, and Axel watched him with a grim expression on their faces. Ian was the first one to break through the tension, his voice filled with a hint of amusement, “This is so not my scene. My suit is ruined now.”
“Sorry for your loss,” Axel said, throwing him a glare before turning to Noah, “You think this will work? He has not shown his face to any of us since, what makes you think he would now?”

“I don’t,” Noah shrugged. “1-saw an opportunity and took it.”
Ian and Axel shook their heads, chuckling. Leave it to Noah to make spontaneous decisions with unwavering confidence.
“Let’s get out of here,” Axel said, walking towards his car with Noah and Ian following close behind. They didn’t have to worry about the mess, as it would be cleaned up before morning
Noah climbed into the car and checked the time on his bloodstained watch. He had approximately two hours to get home, clean up, and return for Felicity. He needed to hurry.
