Wicked Scheme Lost a problem Got a man novel Chapter 12

Chapter 12
Yes, everything was Felicity’s doing.
When
she had seen those photographs that were delivered to her by the mysterious. person, she wasted no time in forwarding them to her manager, Lilian.
Felicity knew she could trust Lilian with this delicate mission. After all, Lilian
harboured her own grievances against Georgia and Caster, making her the perfect ally in Felicity’s quest for
revenge
The gathering provided the perfect stage for her plans to unfold. Knowing Georgia and Caster’s shared obsession with their public image, Felicity saw an opening to strike where it would hurt the most.
Felicity’s resolve strengthened. She was prepared to use every tool at her disposal to dismantle the facade of perfection that Georgia and Caster had carefully constructed.
This was the first step to Felicity’s revenge.
She would ruin them slowly while bringing herself up.
With their scandalous relationship exposed to the world, Felicity could end things with Caster without hesitation, knowing the public would support her decision.
Following this revelation, Georgia’s career would gradually diminish, providing Felicity with an opportunity to reclaim her former status in the entertainment industry.
“It’s about time you saw the truth and severed ties with those people,” Lilian’s voice came across the phone with irritation.
When Felicity shared the photos, Lilian’s lack of surprise spoke volumes. Before succumbing to her cousin’s influence and pursuing Caster, Felicity had been a remarkable young woman.
Lilian had never given up on Felicity because she held onto the hope that Felicity would eventually realize the truth. She felt relieved that everything was finally out in the open. Now, Felicity could move forward with her life and pursue even greater achievements.
“But where did you get the video? I never sent you any security footage,” Felicity exclaimed, surprised by the video showing Caster and Georgia. While she had shared

the photos, the video was not something she had been involved in.
“I didn’t release any video. I thought you might have done it.” Lilian answered. “Anyway, I have to go. Good night.” Lilian hung up.
Sitting in her car, Felicity pondered in silence how the video had surfaced. Could it be that the same person who sent her the photo had also released the video? But the question remained; why would this person be assisting her?
Her contemplation was abruptly interrupted by a knock on her window. Rolling it down, Felicity was met with Georgia’s glare as she stood outside.
“What?” Felicity asked with a blank look.
Georgia pointed accusingly at Felicity, her gaze filled with malice. “You…” she began, her voice dripping with accusation. “You did this, didn’t you? You released those photos.”
Georgia had mulled it over, and in her mind, only Felicity could have been responsible. After all, Felicity had been with them at the hotel that day.
In addition to her suspicions, Georgia recalled how Felicity had suddenly disappeared without explanation, insisting she went straight home after they left her at the hotel. Georgia was convinced that Felicity must have followed them, taken the photo, and then slipped away unnoticed.
Georgia gritted her jaw in anger. She had been played like a fool. She remembered the words Felicity had said to her that morning.
‘Drop the act, cousin. You don’t have to pretend anymore.
‘Dou still want to put on an act? Fine. You will find out what I’m talking about later. Just you wait.’
It all made sense.
“What are you talking about?” Felicity feigned confusion, furrowing her brow.
“You knew Caster and I were seeing each other, and you didn’t say anything. Why?” Georgia’s voice held a mixture of accusation and disbelief.
Felicity dropped the act, smirking. Georgia wasn’t as naive as she seemed.
“So what if I knew?” Felicity abandoned the pretence, meeting Georgia’s gaze with a

mocking smile and raised eyebrow. “What are you going to do about it?”
“I will never forgive you for this,” Georgia declared firmly.
“You’re bold, Felicity scoffed, shaking her head. “Forgive me? You’re the one who betrayed me. You can drown in resentment. But tell me, why did you do it?”
That question burned within Felicity. Why had Georgia turned against her, despite Felicity’s kindness towards her cousin?
“Why? It’s simple. I want to take everything you love,” Georgia replied with a wicked. grin.
“Very well,” Felicity said, feeling a twinge of disappointment at the answer. With resolve hardening in her heart, she added, “Then you can burn in hell.” With that, she sped out. of the mansion, her decision made.
As Felicity arrived at her apartment, her anger began to subside. Exiting her car, she glanced at the time: 10:00 p.m. She sighed and headed for the elevator, feeling the weight of the day settling upon her.
The journey to her floor was silent, the hallway empty and devoid of life, with most residents either out enjoying the nightlife or already asleep.
Approaching her door, Felicity’s brow furrowed in confusion. It stood slightly ajar, a sight that immediately put her on edge. No one knew her passcode except her. Stepping back, she scanned the surroundings for signs of forced entry but found none. Something was definitely amiss.
Felicity surveyed the dim hallway, finding it empty. With caution, she pushed the door open. Inside, her home was shrouded in darkness, a stark contrast to the lights she distinctly remembered leaving on before her departure.
Standing frozen by the doorpost, a chill crept down her spine as she sensed a presence beside her. Instinctively, she moved her head to the side just in time to evade a knife aimed at her neck.
A scream tore from Felicity’s throat as she stumbled backward, crashing onto the hallway floor. Emerging from the darkness of her apartment, a man clad in all black with a mask obscuring his face, brandishing a knife.

Recognition struck Felicity like a lightning bolt. His attire mirrored that of the men who had fired shots at her and the mysterious stranger. Her worst fear had materialised before her eyes: they had tracked her to her own home.
“I don’t know anything, I swear,” Felicity blurted out in haste, scrambling backward from the menacing figure.
The man remained silent, his movements fluid as he advanced towards her, t rling the knife between his fingers with a disturbing calmness.
There was no getting out of this. All this was that man’s fault, why did misfortune always follow her? If she died today, she was going to find that man and haunt him for the rest of his days, that is, if he wasn’t dead already.
“Shit!” she swore before bolting to the elevator. She pressed the button as she threw a glare at the man who was still walking towards her.
The elevator dinged as it opened but she stood rooted in her place as three men in black suits appeared before her.
One of the men took out a gun and Felicity closed her eyes accepting her fate. She waited for the gunshot but there weren’t any. She slowly turned her eyes open to see that the gun was aimed at the man behind her.
“Miss, step aside,” The man, who looked like the leader, instructed. Felicity nodded, relief flooding through her as she realised that these men were here to aid her.
She watched as they tackled the man who wanted to kill her and injected him with something.
‘What the hell?’ Her thoughts raced as she stared at the scene. Two of the men dragged the unconscious guy into the elevator while the leader approached her.
“What do you want?” Felicity inquired cautiously, eyeing the man with suspicion
“Miss, this is for you,” the man replied calmly, retrieving an envelope and extending it toward her.
With a sense of trepidation, Felicity accepted the envelope, her heart racing as she saw the initials “N.E. emblazoned on it. It was the same person who had sent her the photographs.
Casting a wary glance at the man, Felicity hesitantly tore open the envelope. Inside, she

Felicity’s confusion deepened as she stared at the diamond ring in her hand. She shot the man a questioning glance, but he simply gestured for her to read the note.
With a mix of curiosity and apprehension, she unfolded the note and read its contents: “I saved you. Now, marry me.”
