Wicked Scheme Lost a problem Got a man novel Chapter 103

Chapter 103
The drunk man swayed from side to side as he turned t**ing steps towards her. “Don’t women know their place anymore? Who are you to speak
me like that?”
Felicity, unfazed by his aggression, retorted, “To you? So you’re aware you’re a madman” Some employees tried hard to conceal their smiles, impressed by her quick wit
The man looked exasperated, “You *b*h!”
“Stop it, Jared!” The woman he had been yelling at cried out, trying to stop him from speaking further. Fearful that Felicity. might fire her from her job, she pleaded, “Don’t you have any self-respect! Don’t speak to her like that.”
In haste, she rushed to Felicity’s side, “Ma’am, please forgive me. I’ll send him away right now.” She apologised before attempting to pull Jared away, but he pushed her violently, causing her to hand harshly on the floor with a yelp. From the angle she fell, Felicity was sure the woman had sprained her wris
“Get off me, you f****g **h! How dare you touch me?!” Jared shouted at the sobbing woman. “Just wait till we get home. I’m going to beat you till you bleed. He then turned his attention to Felicity, his anger redirected. “And as for you. I’m going to teach you a lesson right here and now.” He stumbled forward, his hands in the air, ready to strike Felicity.
Before Jared could reach Felicity, a male employee stepped forward, pushing him to the floor harshly. “Do you know who you’re speaking to? Keep your distance and speak politely if you want to leave the same way you came,” The employee threatened
Felicity’s brow shot up in surprise; she hadn’t expected someone to defend her. She took note of the employee’s face. Jared’s eyes widened as he looked at Felicity from the floor before snickering. “Are you the boss here? Isn’t this the Orion group? You must be Felicity then. I heard you chase men. How much do you want for a night with me?”
Strings of gasps resonated in the hall as Felicity’s gaze hardened at the man. The same male employee from earlier stepped. forward to hit Jared, but Felicity stopped him. “I’ll handle it,” she said firmly, preparing to put an end to the escalating
situation.
She walked towards Jared, who was still on the floor and leaned closer to him, her lips curving into a menacing smile. Her voice dropped to a dangerous whisper, “Oh, I don’t chase men, sweetheart. I hunt them. And trust me, you’re not worth the price. But if you insist, I’m sure I could arrange a lovely night for you… in the morgue.”
Jared felt a shiver run down his spine at the cold look in her eyes and her eerie smile. He unconsciously backed away from
her.
“Are you threatening me?” he stuttered, his voice trembling with fright
“I don’t do threats, honey. It’s a warning. Felicity added, her tone ice-cold.
Jared’s gaze scanned the room, only to find everyone staring at him mockingly. His attention turned to his girlfriend, still on the floor, and he was suddenly filled with rage. He reached out, pulled the poor girl’s hair roughly, and yelled, “This is all your fault, you b**!” Before delivering a hot slap across her face.
Felicity had had enough. She walked over to the man and kicked him on the back with her stilettos, ensuring her heels dug into his skin as he fell.
With her heel pressed so close to his spine, she spat, “You should have left when you had the chance to. Now guess what, you’re spending the next five years in jail. First, for the destruction of private property-those tables you broke are worth your whole existence-and secondly, for domestic violence. Maybe that will teach you how to treat women better, you misogynistic s**m. With every sentence, her heels dug deeper, eliciting a scream from the man.

Chapter 103
“You b**h, Pamela!” Jared yelled at his girlfriend, too weak from the alcohol to fight against Felicity’s stilettos. “Are you going to watch her treat me this way? Do something!”
Pamela cradled her wrist, feeling the sting on her left cheek where he had hit her. A conflicted look flashed through her eyes as she watched her boyfriend thrash desperately underneath Felicity’s heel.
Felicity saw her hesitation and scoffed, “Are you serious? Are you seriously thinking of helping um after everything he’s done to you? Aren’t you tired of being embarrassed and humiliated? It’s your call. Leave now or forever deal with the consequences.” She offered her an ultimatum.
Pamela stood up, trembling, refusing to meet her boyfriend’s eyes for fear that she might change her mind. She steeled her resolve as she approached Jared on the floor, raising her hand to strike him in the face once, then twice, and a third time, each hit harder than the last.
The whole room cheered her on as she did this, even clapping, motivating her to hit Jared harder. Remembering all the horrible things she had endured from him, all because she thought she loved him, fueled her determination to finally take a stand against his abuse.
As Pamela finally stepped back, she wiped her tears, laughing as some female employees came to hug her. It seemed like Jared’s abusive behaviour had been a regular occurrence, and her coworkers were relieved to see her stand up for herself. Jared, still on the floor, yelled, “Pamela, I’m going to kill you!” His threat quickly turned into a yelp when Felicity applied more pressure to her heel.
“Not if I kill you first,” Felicity retorted. At that moment, the police arrived to drag Jared away. Felicity promised she would do everything in her power to ensure he rotted in jail.
Once the ruckus subsided, Pamela fell to her knees in front of Felicity. “Thank you very much, ma’am. I’m forever indebted to you.”
“Not to me… you owe yourself,” Felicity muttered nonchalantly. Just know your worth from now on.”
As she turned to leave, Felicity stopped in front of the male employee who had defended her earlier. “What’s your name?* she asked.
“Malcus, ma’am, The man answered.
Felicity hummed, considering him for a moment, before turning to Beatrice, who had been watching the whole scene unfold. “Give him a promotion,” she said.
Ignoring the screams of appreciation from Malcus, Felicity returned to her office, her stilettos clicking confidently against
the floor
