Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 49

In everyone's eyes, she was nothing but a manipulative social climber who used any dirty trick necessary to marry into money.

Seraphina took a deep breath, forcing down the violent surge of emotions threatening to break out.

She looked at Cynthia, her lips curving up into a slow, sharp smile.

"Cynthia, it's one thing to lie to the world, but don't start believing your own delusions."

Cynthia's smirk faltered slightly, but Seraphina didn't give her a second to interrupt.

"That design of yours—did you really draw it yourself?"

Cynthia's expression changed instantly, a vicious chill flooding her eyes.

But it took less than a second for her to pull her composed mask back into place.

"What the hell are you talking about?"

Her voice remained steady, but the pitch spiked noticeably.

Seraphina looked at her, a cold sneer on her lips. "Oh, nothing. I just thought your piece was fascinating. The top half was meticulously crafted like a master's stroke, while the bottom half was sloppy like a beginner's sketch. Such a glaringly disjointed style—I have to say, it's a first for me."

The moment the words left her mouth, Cynthia's confident facade completely shattered.

She glared at Seraphina, a flash of pure panic ripping through her eyes before she desperately tried to bury it.

Seraphina absorbed every micro-expression, the final lingering shred of doubt in her mind evaporating into thin air.

Before Seraphina could land another blow, Cynthia went fully on the defensive, her face turning stormy. "Seraphina, you better watch your mouth."

She locked eyes with her, a violent rage burning in her pupils. "If you're a sore loser, just admit it. What's the point of these pathetic insinuations? Did you honestly think a few baseless lies could invalidate my victory? It's useless."

Seraphina stared at her, suddenly finding the entire interaction incredibly amusing.

The truly guilty are always the most terrified of having their open wounds exposed.

Otherwise, she wouldn't have reacted with such explosive desperation.

"Whether it's a lie or not, you know the truth better than anyone."

Seraphina's tone was dangerously calm.
