Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 25

After hanging up, Seraphina instinctively checked her phone.

No missed calls, no unread messages.

Dominic hadn't reached out to her.

Neither had her daughter, Lily.

Seraphina stared at the screen for a few seconds before setting the phone down.

She took a shower, dried her hair, and climbed into bed.

She turned off the lights, plunging the room into darkness.

Closing her eyes, she forced herself to sleep.

The next day.

Seraphina put on a clean blouse, applied some light makeup, grabbed her purse, and headed out.

She took a cab straight to the estate.

Paying the driver, she pushed the door open and stepped out.

Just as she was about to walk inside, a sleek black luxury car glided past her and stopped on the other side of the gates.

The door opened, and Lily hopped out.

She was wearing a pink dress, her head hung low, looking utterly dejected.

After taking a few steps, she spotted Seraphina, and her eyes lit up.

But immediately, her little face scrunched back into a scowl.

She knew her mother would come today. Every time they came to the estate, her mother was always there, eagerly listening to her great-grandmother and aunt, cooking all sorts of delicious food.

But her mother hadn't cooked for her in days.

She was furious. She was going to tell on her mother to her great-grandmother and aunt, just to see what her mother would do then.

With that thought, Lily huffed, turned her little head away, and strutted right past Seraphina with her chin held high.

Seraphina stood frozen, watching her daughter's tiny back as she marched into the estate step by step.

Her hands clenched tightly at her sides, her chest stinging as if a blade had just sliced across her heart.

After a long moment, she tore her gaze away and prepared to walk inside.

"Seraphina."

A deep voice rang out from behind her.

Seraphina halted and turned around.

Dominic stood just a few feet away.

He was wearing a dark overcoat, his sharp features exuding a chilling, distant aura.

"You have no right to sell that apartment."
