Chapter 312
Third Person’s POV
Trista frowned slightly, exhaustion weighing heavily on her.
After a moment of silence, she finally spoke in a gentle voice, “I understand. I’m coming over now.”
After the call ended, Trista remained still for a long while, staring at her phone as exhaustion settled over her. Finally, she picked up her car keys and left.
Thirty minutes later, she walked out through the hotel’s back entrance and found Wyatt Brooks and Emily Roberts waiting for
her.
Emily held a designer clothing bag as she approached and said, “Luna Trista, the clothes are ready.”
They were the same as Natalie’s. They had been prepared for the act that Trista and Wilmot were putting on.
Wyatt knocked on the door. “Alpha Wilmot, Luna Trista is here.”
“Come in.”
Wilmot’s deep voice sounded calm, but there was an unmistakable sense of entitlement in his tone.
Wyatt helped Trista open the door, and she found Wilmot stepping out of the bathroom in loose gray robe, his well-defined chest and abs on full display.
His powerful build carried the untamed presence and dominance of a werewolf. He casually dried his damp hair with a towel, his effortless charm completely natural.
Yet when his eyes fell on Trista, there was no shame, no panic as if nothing had happened.
After three years, they had both become used to it.
Wilmot bent down, picked up a lighter and a pack of cigarettes from the coffee table, and pulled one free.
He held the cigarette between his lips and lit it. A thin trail of smoke curled from his lips as he casually greeted her, “You came.”
“Yeah.” Trista nodded, her tone calm and businesslike. “I’ll go change first ”
”
After taking the clothes Emily handed her, Trista turned and walked toward the bedroom.
But when she reached the doorway, she saw Natalie stepping out, tucking her hair behind her ear.
Trista froze.
Natalie… she had really come back.
Natalie was caught off guard when she saw Trista, but she recovered almost immediately. Maintaining her usual calm smile she said, “You’re here.”
Then she gently patted Trista’s head, trying to soothe her like she was calming a child. “Thank you for doing this.”
Trista unconsciously tightened her grip on the clothes. She forced a polite smile and replied, “No problem, Natalie.”
She had never known that Natalie was Wilmot’s first love, or that Wilmot was still in love with her.
If she had known, she never would have nodded when his grandfather asked if she had feelings for him. She never would have agreed to form a bond with him.

And she certainly wouldn’t have allowed herself to be familiated like this.
As for Wilmot, he had always been decisive and methodical. After taking full control of the Simmons Group, he led the company to unprecedented success.
Yet the same cautious alpha who dominated the business world had a private life filled with centradictions.
Natalie withdrew her hand and walked past Trista. Almost instinctively, Trista glanced back over her shoulder.
The moment Wilmot saw Natalie step out, he picked up a jacket and handed it to her, his voice gentle as he said, “Put it on. I don’t want you catching a cold.”
“You’re such a worrier, Will.” Natalie smiled sweetly.
Watching the two of them, Trista was overwhelmed by conflicting emotions.
Once, Wilmot had carried her out of a raging fire without a second thought. He had always been gentle with her and given in to her every whim.
How had they ended up like this?
After watching them for a long moment, Trista clutched the clothes and quietly walked into the bedroom.
By the time she came back out, dressed in the same white dress as Natalie, Natalie was already gone.
Wyatt and Emily had left as well.
But a thunderous knock suddenly echoed from outside.
“Mr. Simmons, we heard you’re getting divorced. Is that true?”
“Mr. Simmons, are you dating Natalie now?”
If there were concrete proof that Wilmot and Natalie had been caught together, the Simmons Group’s stock price would take a
serious hit the next morning.
Tossing his phone aside, Wilmot rose unhurriedly, still wearing his robe, and went to answer the door.
“Mr. Simmons, will Trista continue working at the Simmons Group after the divorce? What kind of divorce settlement will she receive?”
“Mr. Simmons, the public is especially interested in your divorce settlement with Trista. Will she receive any shares in the Simmons Group?”
Standing in the bedroom doorway, Trista let out a self-deprecating smile. The media had apparently decided they were already
divorced.
Facing the crowd outside, she pushed down her emotions and walked over to Wilmot.
She slipped her slender arms around his waist and rested her chin lightly on his shoulder. Then, in a sweet voice, she asked, ” Honey, what’s going on?”
“Trista?”
“Luna Trista?”
