The sting of being pushed away and rejected was something Taylor wasn't keen on experiencing again. All in all, it was pretty infuriating.
And there he was, watching Taylor waiting for her answer with a serious look on his face. Leonora, almost like she was under a spell, nodded. "Yeah."
The moment Leonora agreed, Taylor's face lit up with a smile. He placed his right hand on the back of her neck, pulling her close, and kissed her lips.
After several heated kisses, Taylor started to undress Leonora with practiced ease. Startled, Leonora grabbed his hand. "Taylor, what are you doing?" She quickly added, not wanting to be misunderstood, "I'm not rejecting you, but we're in a parking lot, outside."
Taylor gently removed her hand and kissed it. "There’s no car nearby, and even if there was, nobody can see inside."
Leonora, startled, tried to step back. "No..."
But before she could finish, Taylor lifted her up and sat her in his lap. Soon, her clothes were gone.
"Taylor," Leonora's voice was breathless, her face and ears a deep red. They played around in the front seat for a bit, but Taylor, not satisfied, pulled Leonora into the back seat where there was more space. He could easily change positions, making it convenient for Leonora to either kneel or raise her legs.
"Taylor, I can't take it anymore."
"Taylor."
"Taylor, you're annoying me."
Finally, when Leonora was on the verge of tears, Taylor pushed on for a bit longer before finally stopping. Completely spent, Leonora lay on the back seat, catching her breath. "You’re really annoying, you never give it a rest."
They had just argued, and she thought he wouldn't be in the mood, but he seemed even more lively than usual.
Seeing her like this, Taylor stroked her face and hair. "Arielle, you just don’t get it. This is what they call making up after a fight. Couples don’t hold deep grudges, especially when you’re so adorable."
Leonora stayed silent, thinking to herself that they weren’t really a couple.
Taylor freshened up and opened the car window to let some air in. Seeing Leonora still sprawled lazily in the seat, he scooped her into his arms and teased, "My Arielle is so beautiful, every part of you is beautiful and tempting."
Taylor’s words were never serious, prompting Leonora to pinch his mouth shut. "You better not speak."
Otherwise, he might start again.
Blushing, she turned to face him. "Taylor, do you ever get tired of this?"
But Taylor only teased further. "I could go for another round."
"No." Even though she said no, Taylor still laid her down on the seat and kissed her passionately, making her feel good for a while before finally fixing her clothes with a satisfied grin.
"Leonora, not everyone can be so in sync, making you feel this good."
Proud of himself, Taylor received a blunt response from Leonora. "Only at times like this do I see some benefits of being with you."
No sooner had she spoken than she regretted her words. She had spoken too quickly, without thinking it through.
Leonora’s cheeks flushed, and Taylor laughed, embracing her for a series of kisses and caresses until Leonora’s mother called. Only then did he let her go, leading her out of the car to the front seats.
Soon, they arrived at Leonora’s house. It was quite late.
