30 Days Till I Divorce My Husband novel Chapter 501

Seeing Leonora care for him and worry about him filled Taylor with joy. As he guided her to sit down, she raised her hand to massage his temples.

"Work might be busy, but you need to take care of yourself. You're always staying up late," she chided gently.

She didn't really know what he got up to when she wasn't around, but whenever he picked her up to go to Southbay, they both stayed up late.

Her admonishments were like music to Taylor's ears. Seizing the moment, he said, "Then why don't you stay with me in Southbay? Take care of me, will you?"

Taylor's cheeky request made Leonora roll her eyes. "Don't push your luck. We agreed on this from the start."

Even as she scolded him, her hands continued to work on his temples, massaging and relaxing him. Her irritation only made Taylor happier. Wrapping one arm around her waist and the other supporting the back of her head, he kissed her.

Leonora's brows furrowed, her hands on Taylor's shoulders, trying to push him away. Eventually, feeling his passionate yet gentle kiss, she gave in.

After they finally pulled away, Taylor held her by the waist, their foreheads touching, noses brushing, and he whispered, "Is your period over?"

Leonora was initially puzzled, then realized what he meant. Blushing slightly, she nodded, "Yeah, it's over."

Taylor's smile widened. "Come to Southbay with me after work."

Leonora nodded. "Okay."

At that moment, Leonora couldn't help but admire Taylor. Even though their relationship was primarily transactional, he could flirt better than most people in serious relationships. Often, his gentle and reasoned approach left her unable to refuse him. She didn't realize it yet, but emotionally, she was no match for Taylor. His teasing was child's play for him.

Having agreed to join him in Southbay after work, Leonora was about to get off his lap and head back to her office when someone knocked on Taylor's office door again. Leonora jumped, hurrying to get off his lap.

The door opened, and a senior executive from the company walked in. He was a man slightly older than Taylor. As he entered, Leonora was just getting up from Taylor's lap, not yet having walked around the desk. Seeing the scene before him, the man was startled. Had he interrupted Mr. Taylor at a bad time?

Men understand these kinds of flirtations among each other. Seeing the man outside the office, Leonora felt guilty. She shouldn't have listened to Taylor or sat on his lap. Now, caught in the act by someone else.

The presence of a third person didn't bother Taylor at all. He looked at Leonora and instructed, "Arielle, wait for me after work."

With a deliberate mention of "Arielle," Leonora responded with feigned calmness, then quickly left. Taylor laughed at her fleeing figure.

Then, the man spoke, chuckling, "Mr. Taylor, seems I came at a bad time."
