Taylor's teasing made Leonora squirm a bit. “Taylor, cut it out, I'm a bit sore,” she said.
The moment Leonora mentioned feeling pain, Taylor backed off immediately.
He lay on his side, propping his head up with one hand, admiring Leonora as if she were a masterpiece, while his other hand gently massaged hers. “Leonora, Grant abandoned you. Why do you still care about him? Why worry about being awkward?”
If he were in Leonora's shoes, he wouldn't care. He'd make sure to be with her no matter what, even if it meant going against his own wishes. He’d find a way to get back at Grant, just to make him uncomfortable.
Why did Leonora always act like an ostrich, burying her head in the sand when things got tough?
At Taylor's question, Leonora glanced up at him and replied, “If he weren't your uncle, I wouldn't care or feel awkward. Think about it. First, I was with the uncle, and now the nephew. What does that make me?”
Taylor accepted her answer, relieved that she didn't have feelings for Grant.
“Some people have been with the son and then the father. Compared to that, what's your situation?” he said, with a smirk.
Leonora gave him a disdainful look. “I don't have your thick skin or your ability to endure.”
Amused by her comment, Taylor hugged her tightly.
Leonora quickly pushed him away. “Taylor, stop. I'm serious, it really hurts.”
“I won't tease you,” Taylor said, kissing her gently on the lips. “Let me see.”
“No,” Leonora refused outright. Even though he had seen her many times before, she couldn’t bring herself to agree.
Taylor, ignoring her reluctance, started to undress her.
“Taylor, stop it! Have you no shame?”
“I’ll show you mine later too.”
“I don't want to see yours! Stop it, don't…” Leonora's words were cut off as she held her breath, her hands clutching the bedsheet reflexively. “Taylor, no, Taylor…”
After some pleading, Taylor finally kissed her softly. “It's not that bad. You’ll feel better after some rest.”
Embarrassed by Taylor's flirtations, Leonora couldn't even look at him. He had no shame; once he started something, he knew no bounds.
“It’s getting late. I need to go home,” Leonora said, avoiding his gaze.
Taylor, intrigued, pinched her chin. “Feeling shy?”
Leonora pinched his wrist. “Enough, Taylor!”
The shyer she got, the more Taylor teased her, nibbling on her ear and whispering, “My Leonora is so beautiful. Everything about you is beautiful…”
Before he could finish, Leonora, her face flushed, raised her hand to pinch his mouth shut, stopping him from talking.
Taylor delighted in her resistance, gently biting her hand in response.
Leonora, her ears burning, said, “Taylor, how can you be a boss like this?”
