At this moment, Jason's grandpa and Aiden were hitting it off like old friends, laughing and sharing stories as if they'd known each other forever. The two old chaps, both around the same age, found themselves with endless things to talk about.

"Grandpa," Jason greeted, with Estrella by his side, both of them beaming. Jason's smile had become a permanent fixture, a far cry from his previously stoic demeanor.

"Jason, Estrella, welcome back! Did you get your marriage license today? It’s a relief knowing it’s all official now," Keith said, visibly at ease seeing them return.

It had been a long time coming, but peace was finally settling in.

Aiden, stepping into the role of the wise elder, chimed in, "Now that the marriage license is sorted, you should start planning the wedding. Estrella's pregnancy will only make it harder if you wait too long."

"Don't worry, Grandpa. We're on it," Jason reassured.

After chatting for a while, Bryce called them over, and only then did the two old-timers let Jason and Estrella go, resuming their earlier conversation.

Walking over to Bryce, Jason felt a warm sense of gratitude that Landon had made the effort to bring Aiden into their lives.

As dinner was announced, everyone made their way to the dining room. Despite the large gathering, the old family table was big enough to accommodate everyone comfortably. The table was laden with an array of dishes, each more inviting than the last, with no two dishes alike.

The mood at the table was jubilant. "Aiden, Ravenwood is such a lively place. Why don’t you stay a bit longer? We could do with more of your company and perhaps a game or two of chess," Keith suggested, raising his glass in a toast.

Then turning to Jason, he instructed, "Jason, could you go to Oak Falls and bring your grandma over?"

"Sure, I'll go get her tomorrow," Jason agreed.

Aiden, tempted by the prospect of staying longer, especially with the added bonus of seeing Isaac and not missing out on the wedding festivities, happily agreed, "Sure, the lease on the First Mansion is for a year anyway. I'll extend my stay, at least until Jason and Estrella's wedding banquet. I wouldn't miss their big day for the world."

Keith was pleased with this arrangement and promptly added, "That's settled then. Jason will head over tomorrow."

Aiden looked warmly at Jason and Estrella and said, "While I’m staying at Ravenwood, you won’t need to visit as often. But once I'm back in Oak Falls, I do expect you, Estrella, and the kids to come by."
