After a chat with Kristin, Jason headed back to the bedroom to find Estrella fresh from the shower, stepping out of the bathroom.

Seeing him, she beamed, “You’re back.”

Estrella looked exactly the same as she did years ago, unchanged.

Her smile took Jason back to their early days at Ravenwood College. He couldn't help but pull her into his arms, resting his chin on her shoulder as he always did.

After promising Estrella, Jason grabbed his pajamas and hummed a tune on his way to the bathroom. Not long after he had cleaned up, he jumped into bed and snuggled Estrella into his embrace. They chatted and played around for a while before settling down.

Jason shared with her about Hans and Paloma, and Estrella gently stroked his face, offering comfort.

“Estrella, I’m not mad. It just feels like years of drama have finally ended, and we can actually start living a good life,” Jason admitted.

After years of turmoil, Jason was exhausted. Estrella rested her head on his chest, nodding with her eyes closed, “Yeah, let’s live a good life, work hard, and raise Isaac and the baby on the way well.”

Jason kissed her forehead, saying softly, “Yeah. Let’s sleep.”

Estrella snuggled closer, hummed in agreement, and drifted off to sleep. Holding Estrella felt so right to Jason. She was soft, fragrant, and gave him a profound sense of belonging.
