30 Days Till I Divorce My Husband novel Chapter 450

Jason said, "Alright, we'll head back tomorrow afternoon."

The moment Jason agreed to return, Landon's smile broke free, unable to be contained. He knew deep down that Jason wasn't going anywhere this time. Their family could be whole again, just like the old days.

Landon glanced at Jason, noticing how much he looked like himself and Kristin, not at all like Hans.

"He's not Hans's son," Landon thought, "he's ours, mine and Kristin's."

Turning to Jason, Landon said cheerfully, "Tomorrow, I'll ask the kitchen to whip up some of your favorites. Estrella loves her chicken stewed with baby potatoes, but you, Jason, you're easy. You've always been happy to eat anything since you were little."

Talking about Estrella and Jason filled Landon with excitement.

Jason replied, "Sure, Dad, you handle it."

Landon's happiness was palpable, and Jason couldn’t help but smile too.

But the future weighed heavily on Jason’s mind; managing three companies was no small feat. He realized he and Estrella needed to have more kids, more potential successors.

As they strolled in the garden, Cole joined them. After a bit of chatting, Jason noticed Landon and Cole seemed to have more to discuss, so he excused himself.

Hans and Paloma were still upstairs in their suite. Even though Jason had made his stance clear, there were still things to iron out.

Landon and Cole didn't try to keep Jason from leaving. They just told him to drive safely.

In the parking lot, Jason got into his car but hadn’t started it yet when he saw Landon and Cole heading back into the hotel.

The sky had darkened by now.

Thinking about Hans and Paloma's sudden appearance and the chaos of the past couple of years, Jason couldn’t help but laugh.

"Life's a stage," he thought.

At that moment, he truly understood what that phrase meant.

Life is always ready to surprise you.

Keith was particularly upset today, likely not ready to forgive Hans and Paloma.

As for Jason, he didn't really know them, had no memories of them, so he felt no ties to them.

Although Landon hadn't shared the details of Hans and Paloma's life these past years, the information Jason had gathered from Drew was enough.

Knowing they were doing well and had a son and a daughter, Jason felt neither injustice nor anger at their years of selfishness. Instead, he was relieved they were such people. It spared him the need to deal with them or feel for them as he did for Keith.

He was Landon and Kristin's son, always had been.

Glancing back at the hotel, Jason felt a weight lift off his shoulders. This drama had finally ended, and he and Estrella could move past all adversities.

The 'resurrection' of Hans and Paloma wasn’t bad; at least it meant no rift between him and Keith, and Keith wouldn’t object to his remarrying Estrella.

With that thought, Jason started the car and headed back to Sandalwood Oasis.

Arriving home, he found Kristin already putting Isaac to bed.

Entering the room he shared with Estrella, who was in the shower, Jason went to see Isaac.
