30 Days Till I Divorce My Husband novel Chapter 431

In a cozy moment, Estrella playfully pushed Jason away, saying, “Enough, stop,” and only then did Jason let her go.

In the past, he wouldn't have stopped unless Estrella was in tears, begging him to. But now, with a little one on the way, Jason was extra careful, worried about causing any harm.

After getting dressed, Estrella gave Jason’s cheek a playful pinch, “You’re getting craftier, aren’t you?”

When Estrella was fully clothed, Jason immediately pressed his right ear against her belly, his voice soft, “Babe, let me listen to our little girl, see what she’s up to in there?”

Jason’s earnestness made Estrella chuckle. She stroked his hair, amused, “How big do you think she is? She’s barely four or five weeks along. What kind of mischief do you expect?”

Then she teased him, “And how are you so sure it’s a girl? What if it’s a boy like Isaac?”

Still in his grey pajamas, Jason kept his ear on Estrella’s belly, replying seriously, “Even if she’s tiny, I can feel her because she’s my little girl.”

“About knowing, babe, a man’s intuition is pretty sharp too.”

Estrella laughed even harder at his claim, her eyes full of affection as she gently ran her fingers through his hair.

After a while, Jason, still lying on her stomach, said, “Babe, our little girl just told me, she’s a girl.”

Amused, Estrella watched Jason with his ear gently pressed to her flat belly, her hand still caressing his hair.

Eventually, noticing the time, Estrella nudged Jason’s neck, “Our little girl needs her rest. We’ll chat with her more tomorrow.”

At Estrella’s suggestion, Jason reluctantly lifted his head from her belly and cuddled up to her in bed, holding her close.

Hugging Estrella, Jason kissed her cheek and said contentedly, “Babe, thank you.”

He had expressed his gratitude to Estrella many times that night.

Estrella patted his shoulder in acknowledgment.

That night, Jason had a particularly sweet dream about their family of four, happy and content.

The next morning, while the family of three was having breakfast, Kristin was bustling in the kitchen.

Having not taken care of them for two years, Kristin was eager to show off her culinary skills, making all their favorite dishes.

As they enjoyed their breakfast, Isaac, his eyes wide, looked at Estrella and said, “Mom, great-grandpa is so lonely. He has no friends to play with.”

“I dreamt about great-grandpa last night. I taught him how to play checkers in my dream.”

Hearing Isaac’s dream, Estrella chuckled, “When you’re on holiday, you can go and keep great-grandpa company.”

Isaac, being Keith’s great-grandson, was warmly acknowledged by Estrella, showing no sign of harboring past grievances.

Listening to Estrella, Isaac nodded vigorously, “Okay, mom.”
