He gently lifted her calf and began massaging the tight muscles. Her slender legs were noticeably swollen.
After a few deep presses, Sylvia tried to violently yank her leg back. "I don't need your help!"
Ashton kept her firmly pinned down. Seeing her struggle, he delivered a sharp smack to her thigh. "Stop thrashing around."
It wasn't a hard hit, but the slap echoed loudly in the room.
Sylvia lashed out again, kicking him straight in the groin. She immediately felt his heavy arousal through his trousers and was so furious she couldn't speak. He was an absolute animal!
Ashton forcefully tugged the hem of her gown down. Her frantic kicking had hiked the fabric dangerously high, flashing her pale thighs to the room. He shot a deadly glare at Gideon, who was intensely staring at the ceiling, too terrified to look their way.
"Keep moving and I'll take you right here."
He stared her down, his dark eyes promising that he was absolutely not joking.
Sylvia was so angry she nearly blacked out.
"Ashton, does terrorizing a pregnant woman make you feel like a big man?"
Ashton drawled, "Why would I be embarrassed? I'm having a great time. You're the one who owes me money."
"I'm going to report you to the police," Sylvia snapped, glaring at him. "Who knows what shady tricks you pulled with those IOUs. There's no logical way Hugo racked up that much debt out of nowhere."
Ashton narrowed his eyes, amused. "Go ahead. Call them. Let's see if a single lawyer in this city dares to take your case."
Sylvia's chest heaved. She stared at him, horrified.
She knew he was fully capable of burying any legal threat.
He had already proved he possessed zero morals. What could she possibly do to stop him?
Sylvia forced herself to calm down. "I'll give you thirty million first. I'll figure out a way to get the remaining twenty million. Regardless, I will pay you back."
Ashton raised an eyebrow. "Fine. But until the balance is zero, you belong to me."
"What is that supposed to mean? I didn't agree to anything else," she demanded.
Ashton looked down at her, a twisted smirk curving his lips. "Playing dumb? You know exactly what I mean."
"Either you hand over the fifty million right now, or you sleep with me."
Sylvia's mind went entirely blank. Only one thought echoed in her head.
The trap was finally sprung.
Ashton let out a dark scoff. "What could I possibly plot? Are you changing, or do I need to strip you myself?"
Knowing he was unhinged enough to actually do it, Sylvia quickly grabbed her gown and hurried into the dressing room.
Ashton had an exclusive, permanent suite at The Oyster Club. It wasn't just for dining; it featured a massive dressing room, a private bathroom, and a fully furnished bedroom.
Inside the dressing room, a fresh outfit was already laid out. It was a stylish, casual set complete with matching shoes. The price tags were still attached, meaning he had arranged this at the last minute.
Sylvia changed and walked out to find Gideon waiting for her in the hall.
Ashton was standing by the entrance, hands in his pockets, his face an emotionless mask.
"Where are we going?"
Ashton ignored the question. He grabbed her hand, dragged her outside, and shoved her into the car. He looked utterly furious.
Sylvia tried again. "Where is my phone?"
Ashton cast her a sideways glare, openly mocking her. "Why do you need it? Desperate to text your other men?"
Sylvia was sick of his relentless paranoia. "He's my fiancé."
