Felicity arrived home to see that Noah had organised a dinner their bedroom terrace, giving a lovely view of the stars.
After taking her bath. Noah quickly ushered her to eat.
What’s this for? She asked in awe of the setup.

Felicity recalled that they were supposed to have dinner together before the fight. He must be

As Felicity took a bite of the food, her eyes lit up, “Did you make this? It’s good.”

They continued the rest of their meal in silence.
iking up for it.
While eating, Noah kept on stealing glances at Felicity. She looked so beautiful with her hair fluttering in the wind gently and the smile on her face as she ate. He could watch her all day.
Acknowledging his feelings for her had transformed him, and now, restraining himself from showing his affection for her had become increasingly difficult.
His eyes trailed down her face to her fair neck, and his expression hardened when he noticed the slight cut on her tender skin.
He swallowed, overcome with guilt once more and his heart ached, knowing he caused her pain. He chastised himself for acting rashly like a brute,
Standing up, he gently pulled her from her chair, leading her inside their room.
Confused, Felicity whined, “I wasn’t finished with my food,”
“That was your second serving.” Noah teased, pinching her checks softly, before making her sit on the bed while he retrieved. the ointment.
“I wasn’t full,” she said, puffing out her cheeks.
“You can eat after I’m done,” He replied, sitting next to her and gently applying the ointment gently on her cut.
Felicity winced when it stung. Honestly, she hadn’t been taking care of the small cut, so it hadn’t gotten any better. She had relied on covering it with makeup.
Once Noah was done applying the ointment, he sighed, his expression filled with remorse, “I’m sorry for hurting you.” He apologised sofily before pressing a kiss to the cut on her neck.

“How come you’ve grown so bold?” She asked him honestly perplexed by his sudden confidence to flirt with her. “Are you trying to seduce me into sleeping with you?”
“Is it working” He joked in reply.
She playfully pushed his head her back into the bed.
Y. Stop playing around. I’ll clear out the dishes” She stood up to do so but Noah pulled

“But you already cooked, it’s the least I could do.” She argued, but Noah hushed her.
“I said I’ll take of it. You need to rest. He answered, leaving no room for argument.
Felicity stopped arguing and lay back on the bed, watching as Noal cleared the table. Before he finished, she found herself doring off.
He chuckled, climbing into bed next to her, noticing her drowsy state.

Felicity’s eyes opened, and locked with his. She gave him a drowsy smile, “Honestly, I like it better with you here next n hated sleeping alone.” She confessed.
Unable to resist, he pulled her into a gentle hug, feeling a sense of contentment wash over him as they drifted off to sleep together.
In the blink of an eye, a week passed, and Orion Groups was the biggest topic in the business world. Their newly launched paint had took the market by storm, making their revenue triple. It was a bigger hit than everyone expected.
Felicity’s success in sealing various partnerships had become common knowledge among the public. Anticipation grew for her latest project with the recycling company, with some people even stockpiling eggshells in anticipation.
All in all, no one doubted Felicity any more. She was able to fulfil what Connor couldn’t in a week. She was a genius, and it attracted a lot of investors. The press said she was as good at business as she was at acting,
In the boardroom, Felicity, in a white and gold designer suit, sat in front of the shareholders who all had embarrassed looks on their faces. Patricia’s face, grimmer than the rest.
Patricia had expected Felicity to flop the company, but she did the opposite. How could all the deals Felicity partnered and invested in be successful? Glancing over at Felicity, her expression faltered. She really should have weeded this threat a long
time ago.
Clearing her throat, Felicity broke the silence, “I believe I’ve proved myself. Our sales didn’t just double, but quadrupled in the last week. Is this enough to convince you? Or do you think I should step down for my aunt?”
The shareholders had nothing to say as the companies victory had also doubled their earnings which made them happy, though they tried to hide it.

They’ll be no need for you to step down since you’ve shown us promiseable results. You’ve earned our trust. I think I speak for the whole room when I say you’ve done a good job.” A man taid, and the restr
fed in response.
Febcity lips tugged a little. Of course they had changed their minils when their pockets were filler.
However, Patricia couldn’t accept it. “Really? You all are going to leave the company in her care?” She slammed the table abruptly in anger.
Henry frowned, “We had a deal, and she fulfilled her end. Our stats have never been better. I think the company will do better in her care than anyone else’s”
“Don’t you think it’s suspicious how well the company did?” Patricia asked with wide angry eyes gazing at each of the shareholders, but they gazed at her like she was crazy. “No one can be that lucky!”
“That’s because it’s not luck,” A voice cut through the tension. Everyone glanced at Beatrice who spoke up from her place behind Felicity. “Miss Orion spent many hours in the office studying the company’s financial records and analysing each promising projects. She skipped lunch several times and was sleep deprived, trying to make this company better. So, it wasn’t luck, but pure hard work.”
The room went silent at her words. Beatrice was someone who everybody respected in the company, holding her position for fifteen years. She had more experience than anyone and her words of acknowledgement spoke volumes.
Felicity glanced at her in appreciation, though Beatrice gave her a cold look in return.
“I guess that wraps it up. I have somewhere to be, so you’ll excuse me, Henry stood up and smiled at Felicity, “Good work
child
Felicity returned his smile before saying, “The meeting is adjourned.”
Patricia was the first to storm out of the room, but no one cared about her. The rest of the shareholders gradually left too until Beatrice and Felicity were left.
Felicity broke the silence, “Thank you for what you said.”
“Don’t sweat it. It was a one time thing, Beatrice muttered before leaving.
Felicity smirked before leaving to attend to her work.
