Wicked Scheme Lost a problem Got a man novel Chapter 61

Chapter 61
felicity had prepared herself for the blow, but it never came. Instead, she looked up to find Axel positioned between her and Vivian, firmly holding Vivian’s hand. He was shielding her.
“What are you doing? Let go of me! She’s the one who did this to me!” Vivian yelled, frantic.
Axel released her arm but remained protective of Felicity. “How could she have done that to you? Did she force you to engage with those men? You made those choices on your own.”
“No! It was her! We were in City Z together. She drugged me and recorded me, then exposed it to everyone. I’m innocent”
Don’t be absurd, Vivian. You suggested we all have a drink to celebrate, then took us to a club. I had a few drinks before leaving. How could I possibly have had time to drug and record you?” Felicity asked.
“Stop lying. I know you did. You played this video…”
Axel sighed, Felicity has been here with me the entire party. How could she have possibly played the video?”
Vivian was speechless because Axel was right. Felicity hadn’t moved from her spot by the snack table, and many people had seen her there.
“She must have bribed someone…”
“Bribed someone? Come on, this is probably the first time she’s been in this mansion. Who could she have possibly bribed? Everyone knows there are differences between the Orion and Walker families, but that’s no reason to frame her for your mistakes. With that, Axel successfully shifted all suspicion away from Felicity.
Though Felicity could have handled the situation herself, she appreciated Axel standing up for her, even though he knew she was guilty of the accusations. Despite claiming to dislike her, he acted otherwise.
“Look at her trying to shift the blame onto someone else. If I were Felicity, I would have set her straight.”
“She’s not afraid of her actions, just afraid of the consequences? Hypocrite.”
“Wait until the whole world hears about this. Some guests who had recorded everything began uploading the scandal
online
When Caster saw the situation escalating, he tried to calm things down, “Let’s all calm down while we sort out this misunderstanding. A maid will lead you to another room where the party will continue,” He said. Some maids began guiding the guests out of the room to another, giving Vivian some breathing space.
Seeing this, Felicity whispered to Axel, “Could you do me a favor?
“What?”
“Make sure everyone returns to this room in ten minutes”
Axel tilted his head, mischief gleaming in his eyes. “I take back what I said. You are interesting.” He said. “Fine, I’ll do it, but you better make it worth the stress.”
Thank you,” she said before approaching a waiter. “Do you know where the bathroom is?” She asked loud enough for passersby to hear, including Vivian, who was in a daze.
Take the stairs up. It’s right down the hall,” The waiter replied, and she thanked him before leaving.

After finishing her business, she came out and was immediately cornered by Vivian, who was staring at her with intense
ryes.
“What do you want?” Felic
you want?” Felicity asked.
“I want you to stop pretending and tell the truth, Vivian spat.
Felicity sighed heavily. I understand what happened to you was awful, but you can’t blame me for the choices you made. Stop causing a scene, you’re not a child,” She told Vivian, attempting to walk away. However, Vivian yanked her back.
“How dare you?!” Vivian slapped Felicity across the face. “Stop lying, you witch. You planned all this. You came here to ruin
me.
Felicity, feeling the sting on her cheek, retaliated with a slap of her own. Vivian stumbled back in shock.
“I don’t know what’s gotten into you. I only came to this party because you invited me, and we used to work together. I won’t tolerate any disrespect from you. Know your place,” Felicity asserted, trying to leave again. As she reached the edge of the stairs. Vivian grabbed her by the hair.
“How dare you hit me! I’ll kill you!” Felicity managed to break free and pushed Vivian away.
“What are you accusing me of? What did 1 do wrong?
“You drugged me at that club and sent me to those men. I know you did.”
“Drugged you? Get real. You ordered all the drinks at that club. How could I possibly have drugged you? And as for those men, it was my first time at that club; I didn’t even know about the private room,” Felicity defended herself, growing frustrated.
Vivian suddenly burst out laughing, clutching her head. “If you go into that room, you won’t die… you said that to me. I’m not crazy.” Vivian started to recall bits of what happened that night. She remembered Felicity urging her to enter the room. “You knew, didn’t you? You knew I paid men to harm you in that room.”
Felicity asked in shock, “You did what? Are you drunk? Stop spouting nonsense.”
But Vivian continued mumbling like a deranged person, “You must have known that I bribed the waiter to drug your drink, and when I wasn’t looking, you exchanged it with mine. You were supposed to get drugged, go into the room, and get raped, not me. I was supposed to leak the video, not you. Hah, you completely outsmarted me!”
The corner of Felicity’s mouth tugged a little, seeing Vivian in such a devastated state. She wanted to tell Vivian that she had threatened the waiter, who decided to serve Vivian the drugged drink instead of her. She wanted to rub it in her face. But Felicity had to wait for the perfect time.
As a natural actress, in a split second, tears filled her eyes, and her face twisted into shock and disgust. Her voice broke as she spoke, “You really did that. You wanted to have me harmed? What did I ever do to you to make you hate me so much!”
Vivian scoffed, “Why do I hate you? Do I need a reason to hate you! You disgust me, and I hate your face. Everything you do annoys me. Seeing your face enrages me. You think you’re so high and mighty because you’re rich and beautiful. I want you to feel how it feels to be at your lowest point, where no one would notice you. I want to see you suffer. With every sentence, she took a step closer to Felicity, who took a step backward until she was at the very edge of the stairs.
Felicity felt disappointed at Vivian’s answer. Why did all her enemies hate her for such trivial reasons? First Georgia, and now Vivian. Well, regardless of their reasons, she would deal with them all one by one. She suddenly smirked, which confused Vivian, considering Felicity had been crying just moments ago.
Felicity inched closer to Viviant until her lips were next to Vivian ear. She whispered, “You’re right…. Tonight marks the end

of our differences. Vivian Walker.” The same words Vivian had said to her that night.
Vivian had uttered those words thinking Felicity would meet her end, but it didn’t go as planned. Now that Felicity said those words, didn’t that mean she was confessing?

Vivian’s eyes widened in shock before turning to anger. In a fit of rage, she extended her hand and pushed Felicity backward, knowing Felicity was at the edge of the stairs. Her eyes were filled with murderous intent, and at this point, only Felicity’s demise would satisfy her. “Just die!” she yelled.
A sense of deja vu washed over Felicity. Indeed, some things never changed. Vivian hadn’t hesitated to push her, just as she did before. Felicity recognized the crazed look in her eyes-it was the same as before.
Fortunately, this time, she expected it. Just as Vivian’s hand grazed her, she moved to the side to evade it. Vivian’s hand caught her necklace instead, and it ripped, the pearls rolling down the stairs with a gentle cling.
“Oh my God!” A gasp was heard from below, and Vivian paused in terror. Both ladies looked down to see all the guests at the party recording them on their phones. When had everybody returned to the room? The two women had been so engrossed in their argument that they hadn’t noticed.
“She just tried to kill Felicity.”
“I didn’t know such a wicked person existed. Planning to harm another girl in such a way. Pure evil.”
“Vivian, you deserve to face the consequences!
Vivian shook her head, “N-No, no, this can’t be happening.”
“Don’t lie, we heard everything. Look at this, you’re live.”
“No! It’s not what it seems. Felicity tricked me!! Vivian let go of Felicity and rushed down the stairs to explain herself, but she was in such a hurry that she didn’t notice the pearls on the floor.
Everyone watched in horror as she slipped and fell down the stairs. After many twists and turns, she finally landed at the bottom of the stairs in a bl**dy mess, with her neck and hand at odd angles.
The room went silent.
