Chapter 135
Noah watched in confusion as K cackled to himself.
“We’ve met?” His brow creased as he racked his brain of any encounter with K. It came back blank.
K’s eyes glinted with a malice that had been brewing for years. “Yes, we’ve met. All four of us-you, me, Axel, and lan. But I guess you’ve forgotten.” His head shook in mock sympathy
Noah didn’t stop him as he stood up and approached the door. K opened the door to a p**ed Axel standing on the other side. Before he could react, a heavy punch landed on his delicate nose, breaking it.
K stumbled back because of the force, knocking against the table. His men waiting outside all pointed their guns at Axel’s head while Noah’s men pointed at them in return.
“Guys! Guys! Let’s all calm down, shall we?” K signalled for everyone to lower their gun but both sides were reluctant to do
“I’ve been waiting years for that. It felt good.” Axel smirked, flexing his b**y fingers as he continued to walk towards K ready to throw another punch.
Noah placed an arm on his shoulders to calm him down. This wasn’t the place nor the time for a gunfight to break out. “Calm down. I want to kill him too, Noah whispered in Axel’s ears and watched as his cousin’s shoulders relaxed.
K cradled his broken **dy nose and let out a dry laugh. “You’ll pay for this. If I were you, I’d watch carefully from now on.” He said to Axel before brushing past them. His men finally brought down their guns and followed him out of the building.
“Dude, what the hell? They could have shot you.” Noah asked Axel angrily.
“It had to be done.” Axel shrugged as lan walked into the room.
“How did it go? Did he give us anything useful?” lan asked.
A conflicted look flashed across Noah’s eyes as he recalled all the gibberish K sputtered. trying to extract some sense from
them.
“Axel, you dug into Felicity’s past again,” Noah inquired, his voice heavy with suspicion. “Did you find anything strange?” Axel shook his head. “No, it was spotless just as you said. Her father mostly pampered her and kept her sheltered. She didn’t have a lot of interactions with other families and I didn’t find any connection with K
lan’s gaze flickered between the two men, his voice tinged with urgency. “What did he say?”
“Three things were clear from what he said. First, he knew Felicity way before we did-maybe a childhood friend Second, he has met us all before. We know who this son of a b**h is. Third, K is an elite. His mannerism and the way he spoke, he comes from a well reputable family.” Noah listed out.
“Wait, we know him?” Ian’s voice cracked with disbelief, his eyes widening. “How?”
Axel hummed. “Come to think of it even with that ridiculous mask. I kind of found himn familiar.”
“He plans to act soon so we have to find a way to c instead.”
comer him,” Noah told them. “We should start digging into our past
Jan sighed, looking at the table filled with untouched food. “He didn’t use the utensils so we can’t find a fingerprint.”
“Well, I do have his blood on me.” Axel stretched out the list he used to punch K earlier.

Chapter 135
Jan grimaced before bringing out a handkerchief and wiping Axel’s fists. “Maybe we can do a test or pretty sure all we are going to find is psycho.
something. Though I’m
Axel snickered before telling Noah. We’ll find him. I’ll investigate everyone we’ve met in the two decades if I have to.”
“Thanks, Axel.” Noah sighed, rubbing his eyes in exhaustion. He yawned.
Suddenly, something clicked and lan checked his watch. It was almost seven. “Noah, we have somewhere to be.” Who would believe that seemingly brief meeting took almost two hours?
“We have to go.” Ian pulled Noah behind him as they went to the car with Axel following along.
“Go where?” Noah asked, baffled.
“You’ll see,” lan replied, driving them to the amusement park that Felicity had arranged for their date. It was a weekday and a private park so it was sparsely populated that night.
lan. Noah, and Axel stepped out of the car, spotting F**ty who was standing eagerly at the gate waving at them.
“Felicity, what are you doing here? I thought you were going home to rest” Noah asked.
“I never said that, Felicity shrugged
Ian chimed in. “This is your last date. I helped her plan it.” He said proudly while Noah and Axel threw him questioning looks, with Axel’s expression leaning more towards confusion.
A date? Axel echoed, glancing between them, his eyebrows furrowing. You went on a date today? That’s why you’re dressed like this and smell like a field of fresh grapes! How could you guys go on a date and not tell me? You know what today meant. He angrily said.
Noah placed his hands on Axel’s shoulder. “I don’t have to tell you anything, Axel.” He said, lowering his voice.
Axel’s face darkened. His lips parted, ready to retort when Felicity interjected
“Is this about the meeting? I made sure he didn’t go late, Felicity said, perplexed about why Axel was making a big deal out of this. “Actually, this is not a date,” She confessed, bringing out four tickets from her pockets, one for each of them.
“I planned this for you guys. When was the last time you guys went to the park or had any fun? From Noah’s stories, I figured it was a long time ago.” Felicity stated.
The three men gazed at the tickets in their hands with varying expressions. Axel’s was blank, lan looked confused, and Noah looked touched.
“Wait what?” Ian sputtered in bewilderment. “You can’t be serious, Felicity. We are too old for this.”
“Bullshit! You’re never too old to have fun.” Felicity insisted, excitedly.
Axel exhaled before forcing the ticket back into Felicity’s hands. This wasn’t the time to plan cute or touching hangouts because they had a psychopath after their life, and a gathering like this was perfect for assassination.
“Look, I get what you’re trying to do, but stop. We have more important things to do than rekindle useless childhood memories,” He snapped. “We are Elsworths, and we have enemies. We can’t just waltz into a park filled with random people without protection and expect nothing bad to happen!”
“You risked Noah’s life today.” The words landed like a punch to the gut, a blow that stunned Felicity into silence. “Tell me, if something had happened to him, would you have taken responsibility? You can’t. That’s why you shouldn’t pull stunts like this. Have fun! Grow up.” Axel spat at her face, his eyes blazing with anger.
