Suddenly, a figure stepped into her path.

It was Yulen.

Winona didn't even acknowledge his existence, but he fell into step beside her, his tone laced with heavy concern. "Winona, it's freezing out here. You should really wear a heavier coat."

Tightening her grip on Biscuit's leash, she sped up her pace.

Eventually, Yulen arrived at the hospital.

Knowing he was currently living right above Winona kept Tallulah on high alert. Swallowing all her jealousy and rage, she looked up at him with teary eyes and whispered weakly, "Yulen... my stomach hurts so much."

"What exactly did you do today? Who upset you this time to land you in a hospital bed?"

Seizing the opportunity, she played the victim. "I went to the mall today and ran into Winona. I just went over to say hello, but she immediately started hurling insults at me. She even got physical! Thank God I protected my stomach, otherwise... I don't even want to think about what could have happened."

Yulen frowned. "Didn't I tell you to stay far away from her?"

Tallulah pouted. "I just wanted to apologize! I know I did some awful things to her in the past because I was acting impulsively, but I've learned my lesson!"
