Winona waved it off. "No thanks, I'm good."

Ever since she started dating Stefan, she had been eating three regular meals a day and getting dragged out for late-night snacks. For the first time in her life, she had actually gained three pounds. She took her fitness very seriously, so she was currently on a strict ban from pastries, junk food, and sweet drinks.

Helena handed the extra pastry to Greta, who had been staring at it like a hawk.

Greta happily devoured it.

Since Helena had opened the shop, Greta had been coming over straight after school to do her homework. Eventually, the kids from the neighboring stores started joining her, turning the salon into a little after-school club. Greta's once timid personality had blossomed, and she was much happier now.

Winona chatted with her aunt for a bit and was relieved to hear business was booming.

"There is one thing, though," Helena mentioned casually. "A new salon just opened right across the street. Looks incredibly high-end. I'm a little worried they might start stealing our clients."

Winona glanced out the window toward the new storefront and immediately recognized the luxury car parked outside.

Saying goodbye to her aunt, she decided to cross the street and investigate.

The moment she pushed the door open, she saw Tallulah directing a group of workers moving floral arrangements.

"Tallulah?"

Tallulah looked over and smirked. "Winona. What a coincidence."

Winona wasn't an idiot. "You opened a salon directly across from my aunt's on purpose, didn't you?"

Tallulah didn't even bother denying it. "Why not? I have more money than I know what to do with. I figured I'd open a shop for fun. If it happens to run your aunt out of business, even better."

That car out front belonged to Yulen.

If Yulen and Tallulah started hanging around here constantly, her grandmother and aunt would be forced to see them, and it would do nothing but cause them distress. She absolutely refused to let those two toxic parasites harass her family.

She pulled out her phone and dialed Yulen's number.

Yulen picked up, clearly shocked but practically purring with smug satisfaction. "Winona. You finally called me."
