The Wife He Forgot to Marry (Winona and Yule) novel Chapter 461

Winona Jowett shared Yulen Locke's audacious words with Rhea Sheffield.

Rhea was so furious she practically cursed him out. "That has got to be the most shameless scumbag quote I've ever heard. Does he actually think letting you be his mistress is some kind of royal favor? The absolute nerve of that guy!"

After venting, Rhea added, "Thank God you're married to Stefan Goddard now. Stefan is a million times the man he is. Ugh, only someone like Tallulah Shipley would treat a guy like Yulen as a prize."

"He still thinks I harbor feelings for him," Winona said coolly. "But very soon, he'll realize just how wrong he is."

Returning home, Winona kicked off her shoes in the entryway.

Stefan emerged from the study. "Have you grabbed dinner yet?"

Winona shook her head.

Stefan took the meal Lexie had prepared and warmed it up in the microwave.

After washing her hands, Winona sat at the dining table.

He placed the steaming food in front of her and sat opposite her.

Winona picked up her silverware and took a bite. After a moment, she couldn't help but sigh. "Even when Lexie makes a light, healthy meal, it tastes incredible. If I keep this up, I'm definitely going to put on weight."

When she was with Yulen, the cooking had always been wildly inconsistent. If Yulen was eating at home, the food was delicious. When he wasn't, the meals were either overly bland or far too salty. Later, when she moved out of the Locke family home and lived alone, she survived on takeout or simple noodles and never gained a pound.

But since being with Stefan, she consistently ate Lexie's cooking. Even when she asked for something simple for dinner, Lexie's dishes were so mouthwatering that Winona would polish off her entire plate. Just like that, she had filled out by a few pounds.

A couple of days ago, she had asked Lexie to start making healthier, low-calorie dinners, and Lexie had happily agreed. Who would have thought that Lexie's healthy meals would be just as addictive?

Stefan poured her a glass of lemon water and chuckled. "The portions aren't big, so you won't gain weight. But if you're really worried about keeping toned, I'll gladly do some 'cardio' with you tonight, or we can hit the home gym."

Winona shook her head, flatly refusing. She felt her "bedroom cardio" was already intense enough; adding a gym routine would absolutely break her.
