Ivy withdrew her gaze and instructed her driver, "Drive in."
The driver stepped on the gas and headed straight up the mountain road. Seeing this, the security guard had no choice but to let them pass. He immediately called the person in charge to explain the situation.
"I will inform Mr. Manning," the person in charge said. "Tell the butler immediately. Just do not let she take anyone out."
"Understood." Lowering his phone, the security guard immediately grabbed his walkie talkie to inform the staff inside the estate.
Twenty minutes later, the car arrived at the estate. Once inside the grounds, cell phone signals were completely blocked, severing all contact with the outside world. The car slowly came to a halt, and Ivy stepped out. The estate butler had received the message from security in advance and came out to greet her. "Miss Manning."
Ivy walked straight toward the house. "Where are they?"
"Upstairs," the butler replied.
Ivy went up to the second floor balcony lounge. Felicia and Jeremy sat across from each other playing chess. Felicia seemed unsure of her next move, her brows furrowed in deep thought. Ivy paused in her tracks. She looked first at Felicia, then her gaze shifted to Jeremy. The man was looking at the woman opposite him, his eyes incredibly gentle.
When Jeremy turned his head to look at her, Ivy felt her heart give a violent leap. She discreetly masked the emotion in her eyes and walked over. It was not until Ivy approached that Felicia finally looked up at her.
At that moment, Felicia had eyes filled with confusion. Her mind was a blank slate, unable to recall anyone or anything. She only knew that she had lost her memory, that she could not come and go freely, and that she was confined to this estate without any connection to the outside world. This filled her with a deep sense of unease. Yet, whenever Jeremy appeared before her, she felt an innate, overwhelming sense of trust in him. With him here, her restless heart gradually found peace. However, Jeremy had not yet told her what exactly had happened.
Ivy naturally noticed the strange look in Felicia and greeted her. "hello, Ms. Ross."

Oh nooo!! Don’t tell me Max will get washed ashore on a remote island then loses all his memory, then falls inlove with the local girl who saves him. Then when he meets Felicia again he won’t recognize her and breaks her heart again. Additional plot twist is that Felicia is pregnant with their 2nd child. Please pleaseee don’t give us this scenario.. LOL!!!...
If Max can be forgiven Darrin can be forgiven. And I do not like this marriage business but if it has to happen I hope after he gets stranded on some remote island alone while Felicia and his family fight over custody she wins and also gets half his estate. Then by time he comes back she's found having and remarried. Lol...
The writer is good. They're making me interested in Max. I won't say like yet....
It seems the only one who hasn't suffered is Max. Even his family fakes anger and disappointment all their own doing so they suffer a little. Everyone else has suffered. Luke and Jeremy unrequited. Felicia has suffered the most from family to unrequited to romance to long suffering Mother. Even baby Anne never had a mother til Felicia suffered then came back only to suffer some more. lol...
Oh no what did Colton do?... I have a bone to pick. When Olisha had to go the hospital why beg for Felicia? When she so loved Max? Seemed like she was in on the setup for Felicia to see a suicide for the 2nd time orchestrated by holden and his brother again. I might drop this series it's becoming endless with no real satisfaction for me. I don't need it to end because it's like a soap opera but if things don't end up making sense, tying up loose storylines it's gonna get old fast for me. Good luck author....
