The Stand-In Who Burned the Script novel Chapter 416

The man's gaze was incredibly dark. Vivian almost felt like she could be sucked into its swirling vortex at any given moment.

He stared into her luminous eyes, and she stared right back.

They remained locked in that stalemate for quite a while.

He gritted his teeth, his voice dangerously low. "Try one more crazy stunt, and I swear I'll throw you out the window!"

He pushed himself up.

"And change out of that wretched dress! It's hideously ugly!"

"..."

Vivian watched his furiously retreating back, leisurely propping her chin on her hand, and giggled.

It was only three or five minutes later when Silas stepped out of the bathroom. The moment he walked out, his gaze darkened as he instinctively reached out to catch the woman's body falling against him.

Silky and radiant.

One strap of her slip dress had fallen completely, thoroughly showcasing her stunning curves.

To set the perfect mood, Vivian had even dimmed the lights. Her hand slid under the hem of his shirt with practiced ease, trailing upward as lightly as a feather.

Her continuous kisses lingered on his jawline before finally capturing his lips.

"What were you doing just now? Hmm?"

She murmured between kisses, her voice carrying an irresistible, bewitching allure.

"I didn't finish getting dressed. Help me out, okay?"

A storm of emotions flashed through the man's eyes, but in the dim lighting, she could only make out the dark, turbulent intensity swirling within them.

He didn't stop Vivian's roaming hands. He just stood there, completely motionless.

Two minutes passed. Vivian gently bit down on his Adam's apple.

"I already warned them. They won't come in here, okay?"

Silas finally lowered his gaze to look at her, his eyes pitch-black and predatory. "Are you really asking for it?"

"Mhm."

Vivian rested against his chest, whispering, "Asking for you."

"Fine."

"..." Wait, what?

Vivian blinked. Before she could even process the shift, the man gripped the back of her head and yanked her fiercely forward.

His kiss crashed down on her like a violent storm.
