Still You Still Me Still Falling novel Chapter 111

Cecil bought everything they didn't have at home, specifically picking out all of Sheila's favorites.

Whether she would actually eat it or not, she let him buy whatever he wanted.

There was a time when Cecil had treated her wonderfully, but he hadn't had a dime to his name.

Now that he had money, he wanted to make up for those past regrets, and she wasn't going to reject his kindness.

The two of them walked shoulder-to-shoulder along the lush, green path.

It had just rained the day before, leaving the air heavy with moisture and the fresh, earthy scent of damp grass.

They had grown up together and shared countless childhood memories.

Cecil only had to casually mention one, and they could reminisce for hours.

The smile on Sheila's face was relaxed, comfortable, and completely pure.

Standing at the entrance of the Halley Manor with Tilly in his arms, Edmond watched the woman from a distance.

Tilly rested weakly against his shoulder.

She wanted to go find Sheila, but her daddy wouldn't let her.

Plus, daddy was being a little scary today.

Tilly turned her head with a pitiful pout. "Daddy, I want to eat... Sheila!"

Her eyes suddenly lit up, and she waved wildly at the woman in the distance.

"Sheila! Sheila!"

Edmond couldn't cover her mouth fast enough.

At first, Sheila thought she was hearing things.

She turned toward the sound and finally spotted Edmond and Tilly.

Cecil frowned. "Talk about a lingering ghost. How do we keep running into him everywhere?"

He assumed she was going to rush over to the little girl.

After all, anyone could see that she genuinely adored that child.

He had already braced himself for her to run off.
