Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 441

Cyril retracted his hand, turning his wheelchair to face Vivienne. His gaze was incredibly gentle. "What? Want to join in?"

Sienna Markell froze, slightly taken aback.

The Cyril who had just spoken seemed a little different from usual, but she couldn't pinpoint exactly how.

Jerk!

Vivienne pretended not to hear him. She smiled brightly at Sienna. "Sienna, what brings you here? Coming to see Cyril?"

Sienna had a great impression of Vivienne and smiled back. "I came with my dad. Oh, right, what just happened wasn't what you think... we..."

Vivienne waved her hand dismissively. "I get it. Mina Blackthorne did the exact same thing last time. She claimed I was seeing things, too."

Sienna blinked, turning to look at Cyril.

She had always known that the Blackthorne family wanted him, but she never imagined Cyril would entertain a girl like Mina.

Cyril lifted his gaze, a faint smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.

Putting on a brave face, huh?

Vivienne frowned. "What are you smiling at? That's right, I did it on purpose. Sienna is a wonderful person, and I can't stand watching you treat her like an option. Have some respect."

This was mostly true. She despised his habit of keeping girls on the hook, figuring she might as well save one if she could.

Cyril rested his head against his hand, not offering a single word of explanation. He just sat back and watched her perform.

"That's not true!" Lennox Raynor, unhappy with how Vivienne was bullying his boss, spoke up. "Miss Lexton, you've misunderstood him. He's never treated anyone like an option... You can't just slander him because you favor Julian."

Vivienne bristled. Since when did she favor Julian Ravenshire?! Talk about actual slander!

Seriously, what was wrong with Lennox and Wesley Crain?

Were they trying to be Dumb and Dumber?

Vivienne shot Lennox a glare, but before she could speak, Sienna smilingly wrapped an arm around her shoulder. "Vivi, I know you mean well, and I really appreciate the warning. But..."

Sienna paused, glancing at Cyril before looking away.

Before the awkward encounter, they had been discussing his medical care. Not wanting to neglect Sienna, Cyril had suggested that Alaric show her around the estate. Sienna had refused, and in her rush to object, she had tripped.

Sienna collected herself and pointed toward the water. "Go ahead. I'll wait for you here."

Cyril considered it for a moment, then nodded.

Lennox pushed Cyril out of the gazebo. Once they were a fair distance away, Lennox finally voiced his anxiety. "Boss, did I speak out of turn back there? Is Miss Lexton going to be angry?"

Cyril's expression remained perfectly relaxed. "Are you scared of her?"

Lennox nodded. "A little. Wesley told me that Miss Lexton is the most petty person in all of Obsidian Estate. She's the one person you absolutely cannot offend."

As they spoke, they happened to be passing Silvercrest Hall.

Right on cue, Vivienne and Julian walked out of the courtyard, standing shoulder to shoulder.

Cyril sneered. Petty indeed.
