Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 587

Merriton City.

As night fell, the harbor city ignited with millions of glittering lights.

"Cyril is staying here?"

Dorian had set Cyril up in a massive, 3,200-square-foot luxury penthouse right on the waterfront. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking panoramic views of the entire port and the sprawling city skyline.

Vivienne stood by the glass, captivated by the view.

Moira approached respectfully and handed her a glass of water. "Yes, it's very close to the government building, which makes the commute easy."

Vivienne turned, studying Moira. "I saw you at the Merriton banquet. Aren't you Victoria's assistant?"

Uncertain of Vivienne's true temperament but fully aware she was fiercely protected by the Ravenshires, Moira chose her words carefully. "Mrs. Ravenshire has been unwell and needs rest. Mr. Ravenshire was concerned that the young master might have trouble adjusting to Merriton, so he assigned me to assist him."

"Ah."

So she was Dorian's spy. Vivienne nodded in understanding and accepted the water with a polite smile.

Not knowing what the girl was plotting, Moira checked her watch. "Miss Lexton, Mr. Cyril is still in his meeting, so he won't be able to join you for dinner. Your room is already prepared. Why don't you take a shower while I get dinner ready?"

Vivienne looked pleasantly surprised. "You know how to cook?"

"Just a little. Is there anything specific you're craving?"

Vivienne shook her head.

"How about some Western cuisine?" Moira suggested.

Vivienne nodded absently, her gaze shifting toward the hallway leading to the bedrooms.

Nothing was more alluring than feeling clean and refreshed. A shower sounded perfect.
