Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 442

Vivienne certainly hadn't expected to run into Cyril again so soon. Wasn't that guy just busy 'fishing' at the gazebo?

But right now, she didn't have the time or energy to deal with him. She kept her expression serious as she continued explaining herself. "There's a massive misunderstanding here. You know what kind of person I am, right? I can't disclose the rest, so let's leave it at that. See you around."

Before Julian could even react, she turned and bolted back toward her own courtyard.

"..." Julian's expression was indifferent. With his hands shoved in his pockets, he sauntered over to Cyril. "Working hard so early in the morning? Already out networking?"

Cyril looked up.

Julian leaned down, a mocking glint in his eyes. "If I were you, I'd figure out a way to kill that old man."

Lennox froze, half-convinced he was hallucinating.

Cyril turned slightly, meeting Julian's gaze with absolute emotional stability. "Did you forget to take your meds before leaving the house?"

Julian raised an eyebrow, aggressively patting Cyril's shoulder. "You put on such a flawless act. Honestly, if you aren't secretly plotting to murder his entire family, I'd feel incredibly sorry for you."

What kind of psychotic statement was that!

Lennox kept his face carefully blank, but his heart was hammering against his ribs.

Julian straightened up, throwing a disdainful glance at Lennox. "Grandpa certainly treats you well."

Cyril smiled, casually brushing off the spot on his shoulder where Julian had touched him. "Mr. Raynor, let's go."

"Yes, sir." Lennox gave Julian a stiff nod, pushing the wheelchair past the gates of Silvercrest Hall.

Julian scoffed. He jammed his hands back into his pockets and headed straight for Vellmont Lodge.

After retreating to Vellmont Lodge, Vivienne peeked through the gates. Seeing Julian stall Cyril to pick a fight made her breathe a sigh of relief. A person only had so much energy. If he was busy picking a fight with Cyril, he couldn't come after her.

Just as she had that thought, the two parted ways near the entrance of Silvercrest Hall, and Julian pivoted directly toward her.

Vivienne cursed under her breath. It was obvious Julian wasn't going to let this go until he got some answers.

Kael had deliberately wanted revenge, so he provided photos taken from misleading angles. To an outsider, it looked incredibly compromising.

"What do you mean, partying with pretty boys? With reading comprehension that bad, you still think you're getting into a top political academy?"

"Don't change the subject." Julian wasn't falling for it. "You skipped school that day just to see this pretty boy? Are you seriously dating someone behind the family's back? Hmm?"

He asked every question softly, but that final 'hmm' was laced with undeniable danger.

Vivienne's mind raced. Should she clear up the misunderstanding? No, it was better to just own it. She and Bianca were practically best friends now. As long as she claimed Stellan was hers, he'd never be able to get his hooks into Bianca. It was a permanent solution, meaning she wouldn't have to waste time thwarting his storyline later on.

"Yes..."

Before she could even finish the sentence, Julian completely cut her off. "If you have to think about it, it means you don't like him enough. If it hasn't started, don't let it. If it has, break it off."

Vivienne glared at him. "Why should I?"

This had nothing to do with Stellan anymore; she simply refused to let anyone dictate her life.
