Keith was fuming at Jason's suggestion.

"This is where my son and daughter-in-law lost their lives, Jason," he blurted out. "What makes you think your grandma and I would stay here?"

"We can't stay in Ravenwood. We can't forgive Landon and Cole, and we sure as hell can't die in a place that isn't home."

Keith continued, "Jason, you haven't gone through the pain your grandma and I have endured. You have no idea how we've managed to survive these years. So, it's easy for you to talk without feeling the pain. Unless your parents come back to life, I'll never forgive Landon and Cole."

Jason fell silent, absorbing Keith's words.

You can't understand someone else's suffering unless you've been through it yourself.

Jason knew he hadn't experienced the pain Keith and Amber had. He had no right to ask them to forgive.

But he wasn’t trying to persuade them to forgive; he just wanted to mend their relationship with Estrella, to bring them closer to Isaac.

"Landon and Cole may be at fault, but it has nothing to do with that girl. She wasn't even born then."

"So, Jason, don't say I'm forcing you. She's now carrying your child, and I'll step back. I won't oppose you two getting back together, nor your remarriage. But the condition is, you take her and Isaac back to Oak Falls, and you all stay away from Landon and Cole."
