30 Days Till I Divorce My Husband novel Chapter 442

Cole's voice boomed from the living room towards the kitchen, "Autumn!"

Autumn, carrying a plate of apple slices and cheese, walked in grumbling, "Why all the shouting? I'm not deaf, you know."

Cole, ignoring her complaint, pressed on, "Where’s the family bible? Estrella and Jason need it for their marriage license. Hand it over."

Hearing that Estrella and Jason were off to get their marriage license, Autumn hurriedly put down the platter. "Alright, alright, I’m on it."

Nothing was more pressing than making sure Estrella and Jason had the family bible.

Moments later, Autumn came downstairs with the old, cherished book, beaming. "Your dad reminded me last night to give this to you two. Guess you beat us to it."

Seeing the couple returning for the family bible had Autumn unable to hide her joy.

Handing over the bible, she advised Estrella, "Keep this safe, alright? Lose anything but this."

Estrella took it, promising, "Mom, I’d lose myself before I let anything happen to this."

Sitting down, Autumn looked on with a mix of joy and nostalgia. "Marriage is beautiful, truly. It’s good for everyone, especially Isaac and little Isaac."

She then turned her attention to Estrella, fussing over her pregnancy and offering advice.

Meanwhile, Jason and Cole found themselves in the den, talking shop.

After a while, Cole’s tone became more earnest. "Jason, I’m entrusting Estrella to you. Make sure you two take care of each other."

Jason nodded solemnly. "Dad, I’ll take good care of Estrella. You don’t have to worry."

Cole watched him for a moment, then with a heavy sigh, added, "Jason, thank you for understanding us, for being so forgiving."

Jason didn’t respond. All he knew was his love for Estrella, and he wouldn’t let her down.

Soon, the dinner bell rang, and Cole and Jason joined the others at the table.

After dinner, on their way back to Sandalwood Oasis with Isaac, Jason’s phone rang. It was Drew.

Drew’s news was urgent, "BOSS, Keith’s been hospitalized."

Keith, referred to here, was Aiden.
