Estrella was yanked along so suddenly, she couldn't make heads or tails of it. Just moments ago, everything seemed fine with Jason, and now he was acting all weird again.
As Jason led her into the elevator, Estrella steadied herself and looked at him, noticing his complexion looked a bit off.
Rubbing her wrist, she couldn't help but chuckle and scowl at him simultaneously, "Jason, what's the big idea?"
Things had been pretty normal these past few days. Why was he suddenly acting like a bull in a china shop?
The elevator continued its ascent, but Jason didn't respond to her question. Instead, he grabbed her arm, examined her wrist, and asked, "Did I hurt you? I didn't mean to."
Estrella pulled her hand back, "My wrist's fine. But what about you? What's going on with you?"
Jason remained silent, lowering his hand.
Just as Estrella was about to press him further, the elevator doors opened, revealing people outside, and she swallowed her words.
Jason, taking the same floor, gently tugged Estrella towards the private lounge.
His actions had left Estrella thoroughly confused.
And asking him only seemed to add to the mystery since he wouldn't spill the beans, making Estrella's patience wear thin.
Upon reaching the end of the corridor and a VIP lounge, just as Estrella was about to lose her temper, Jason opened the door and gently pushed her inside.
Before Estrella could get a word in, Jason closed the door, pinned her against the wall—a classic "wall slam"—and looked down into her eyes, asking, "Did you really agree to date that kid who's barely out of puberty?"
Suddenly, Estrella got it.
So, this was all about jealousy! That explained the grand gestures. And here she was, thinking something monumental had happened.
Looking up at Jason, Estrella teased, "Didn't you tell me to explore the world? To experience other relationships?"
As Estrella spoke, Jason looked down at her, swallowed hard, and quietly said, "I regret it."
His declaration of regret left Estrella speechless.
Their eyes locked, and seeing Estrella's silence, Jason earnestly added, "Estrella, I'm jealous. I can't pretend anymore. I can't stand seeing you laughing and talking with other guys. I can't imagine blessing your relationships with someone else, let alone you being with them."
Despite the hurdles, he was determined to overcome anything to be with her.
He wanted her, and he would protect her from any harm.
Caught off guard by Jason's candid confession, Estrella was at a loss for words.
Licking her lips, as she gathered her thoughts on what to say next, Jason gently cupped her chin and leaned in to kiss her.
He regretted it. He didn't want to let go, didn't want to hand Estrella over to someone else.
Caught in the moment, fueled by Jason's earlier words, Estrella found herself sinking into the kiss.
Her fists clenched lightly.
Reflecting on their journey, she didn't push Jason away. Instead, she closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around his neck.
Despite the hardships and everything they'd been through, she couldn't resist Jason's tenderness. She couldn't stand to see him sad, couldn't bear to let him go.
Responding to Estrella's reciprocation, Jason's kiss grew more intense, more passionate.
He deepened the kiss, drawing her closer, his left hand cradling her head while his right hand gently kneaded her waist.
Jason's touch on her waist made Estrella gasp, her heartbeat quickening.
