Estrella furrowed her brow in confusion. "A bunch of guys in suits? Driving a Mercedes van?"

Autumn nodded firmly. "Yes, I remember them and the van clearly."

Backing her up, Daniela added, "Miss, the lady's right. There were about seven or eight men in suits, and the van was definitely black."

Daniela's confirmation made Estrella turn to Jason with a worried look. "Jason, this doesn't seem like it's just about money."

If it were a simple ransom kidnapping, why would there be a whole crew of men in suits arriving in a flashy Mercedes van? It was too conspicuous, too grandiose.

After sharing her thoughts, Estrella and Jason seamlessly got into the car. Jason didn't need any directions; he knew exactly where to go - straight to the Ledford estate.

If money wasn't the motive, then it must be personal.

And if that was the case, no one seemed a more likely suspect than Holly.

Twenty minutes later, they pulled up to the sprawling Ledford family estate and strode inside without hesitation.

"Mr. Jason, Ms. Estrella, are you here to see Mr. Ledford or the lord and lady of the house?" a servant asked, noting their urgent demeanor but making no mention of Holly.

Ignoring the question, they headed straight for the living room.

"What's wrong?" Holly, hearing the commotion from upstairs, came down with a puzzled look. Seeing Jason and Estrella, she paused before continuing her descent. "Jason, Estrella, what brings you here?"

Jason didn't waste any time. "Was it you who took Isaac?"

"Me? Take Isaac?" Holly stopped dead in her tracks, disbelief evident in her voice. "Why would I take Isaac?"

Seeing Holly's shocked reaction, Estrella added, "My mom and a maid were with Isaac at the park when suddenly a few strangers took him. Holly, do you have anything to do with this?"

Halfway down the stairs, realization hit Holly hard, her face turning pale.

"Why would someone take their child?" she murmured, gripping the railing tightly as her legs seemed to give way beneath her.

Holly's drastic change in demeanor had a servant cautiously calling out, "Miss?"

Gathering herself, Holly continued down, her voice barely above a whisper, "Estrella, Jason, I didn't have Isaac taken. If I knew where he was, I'd have him returned immediately."

Looking into Holly's eyes, Estrella saw fear and panic - emotions that were new to her.

Before either could respond, Holly hastened to add, "I'm practically a prisoner here; how could I orchestrate such a thing? Taking Isaac would only make Jason despise me more. I wouldn't do something that foolish."

Despite her desperate pleas, Estrella replied, "Holly, if we're talking grudges, ours with you is the biggest. But apart from you, we can't think of anyone else."
