Ever since Jason first laid eyes on Isaac, he couldn't shake the feeling that the boy was his son. The thought had crossed his mind countless times, and each time, he grew more convinced. But when Estrella dropped the bombshell out of nowhere, without any warning, Jason was completely floored.

Isaac was his son. Isaac was really his son.

For a moment, Jason's heart pounded so hard he thought it might burst out of his chest. He struggled to breathe, feeling like he was suffocating. He swallowed hard, but it didn't help. He got up and walked over to the floor-to-ceiling windows, pulling out a lighter and a cigarette from his coat hanging on the rack.

His hand shook as he tried to light the cigarette, but then he noticed Estrella and Isaac in the room. He quickly tossed the lighter and cigarette aside.

Estrella couldn't help but laugh and cry at Jason's over-the-top reaction. She was about to tease him and deny it when Jason suddenly spun around, walked up to her, and grabbed her arms. "Estrella, you left our child behind, didn't you? You pretended Isaac was younger than he really is, didn't you?"

It all made sense now. When Estrella mentioned Isaac's biological dad earlier, it had sounded so familiar because she was talking about him.

Jason's excitement made Estrella want to say, "I was just messing with you..."

But before she could finish, Jason cupped her face with his hands and kissed her passionately.

This kiss was more intense than any before, as if he wanted to devour her entirely.

After a whirlwind of kisses, Jason held Estrella so tightly that it made her ribs ache.

"Estrella, thank you. Thank you for keeping Isaac, for still having me in your heart!" Jason's eyes were red with emotion as he thanked her.

He always knew Estrella wouldn't be with anyone else. She loved him the most.

Caught between Jason's excitement and gratitude, Estrella didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

It was supposed to be a playful tease, but his reaction was so intense, she was startled when he suddenly sat up. Thankfully, it didn't wake Isaac.

As Jason held her tightly, Estrella's hand hovered over his back before she finally patted him, laughing. "Jason, you big softie! You believe everything I say?"

Jason responded, "I believe everything you say."
